Playback singerAbhijeet Bhattacharya, who has tweeted in support of Salman Khan, has got an angry response from several Twitter userswho felt that the singer's comments are ridiculous and insensitive.
Using his Twitter handle @abhijeetsinger, he posted today: "Kutta rd pe soyega kutte ki maut marega, roads garib ke baap ki nahi hai I ws homles an year nvr slept on rd."
The translation of this tweet is: If a dog sleeps on the road, it will die a dog's death. The poor and homeless must not sleep on roads... I too was homeless once, but never slept on road.

While many condemned this comment, some other online users have in fact congratualated the singer for it.
One user sarcastically replied to the tweet by stating: "Aap ke charan kidhar hai....Dhanya hai Bollywood aap jaise kalakaron ko paakar (Where are your feet? Bollywood is blessed to have artistes like you)."
Undeterred by the backlash, Abhijeet went on to tweet another line: "Suicide is crime so is sleeping on footpath..80% homeles film ppl strugld achievd stardom but never slept on footpath (sick)."
