The Ehtesaab commission is an effective idea; it will reduce load on the NAB and work a lot better and in-depth - and now that it has set an example of this MPA's father, it can be instrumental in reducing corruption; at least in KPK. Other provinces can follow suit later.

MPA's father was involved in fraud and he was arrested despite being the father of an MPA. More good news than bad - an MPA can be replaced ; what is more important is that the Ehtesaab Commission is working and is working effectively.

Yes and no.

It is indeed shameful for the MPA that his father was doing corruption and it is shameful for PTI to have given ticket to such a person ( supposing that his family was always corrupt). PTI should have done a thorough check on its candidates.

And at the same time it is also a proud moment for PTI, that the institutions which they have build are working regardless of political pressures.

This institution building is a much more important thing than having been unable to screen an MPA's father. SO overall welldone PTI but better be careful next time you give tickets.

I am a PTI supporter as I know its the best option but there were rumors even PTI gave tickets to a SSP candidate in Swat who was previously independent. PTI needs to do proper research on the person before giving party tickets.
