　　国际在线专稿：据韩联社10月9日消息，世界文字学会9日表示，第二届世界文字奥运会（The World Alphabet Olympics）于本月1日至4日在泰国曼谷举行。韩文获得本届比赛冠军，排在第二和第三位的分别是印度的泰卢固文和英文。

Korean Hangul won the second World Alphabet Olympics contest. Indian Telugu Alphabet won the second place. English Alphabet won the third place.

The writing systems of 27 countries were judged by a panel of language expert based on the originality, functionality, and the growth potential.

This is the second win for Hangul, considered to be the "Perfect Alphabet" among linguistic scholars. Hangul also won the first Alphabet Olympics in 2009 Olympics, where Greek Alphabet and Italian Alphabet took second and third places respectively.
