A well written article by Rauf Klasra, exposing Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Javed Hashmi. Pakistan politics are dominated by a feudal class and Klasra has written a good article on this class.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi is trying to represent a liberal class by joining hands with PTI. If you want to see his clear picture, go to his area, where his earning is based on his ' Gadi nashini of a shrine'. This thing can't be believed in this modern age. But in the context of Pakistan, it is a reality.
Javed Hashmi tries to show his image as a rebel leader, liberal fighter and a person who stands for justice. He is involved lots of corruption.
The problem is not the corruption of the politicians, but the people, who don't have nay issue with the corruption and level of morality. If the people make this corruption their issue than these politicians won't be in the assemblies.
