Imagine a USB flash drive containing 70 hours of 4K video in your pocket. Does that not sound fascinating?

Well, Kingston has made it possible with its new 2TB USB flash drive.

The new DataTraveler Ultimate Generation Terabyte (GT) is the world’s highest capacity USB flash drive. For those looking to carry large amounts of data without relying on hard disks and cloud storage, DataTraveler Ultimate GT, the follow up to the 1TB drive released in 2013, now offers twice the storage space found on its predecessor.

The DataTraveler Ultimate GT, on top of providing huge storage space, is USB 3.1 Gen 1 compatible. Due to this enhancement made by Kingston, it provides a better read/write performance.

The USB looks something out of Transformers with high-end design and robust zinc-alloy metal casing for shock resistance.

The flash drive is not exactly tiny (72mm x 26.94mm x 21mm in dimension) but compared to the storage it provides, it is still much more pocket friendly and easy to travel with than hard disks.

Kingston will be selling the DataTraveler Ultimate GT in both capacities starting next month. Pricing is unknown for now but rest assured, all that storage space in a small form factor is going to cost you.

Take a look at how much media you can store in this 2TB drive:

now you have a decision to make, buy a car or a USB drive

XD :sniper::smitten:

Well USA's most used car is Honda Accord and its price can be $21,700. Which is 5 times more expensive than USB.

The largest USB I own is 256GB :D

It is good enough for me as I managed to save the entire data from 2 of my old laptops into single USB
