Another app called goTenna can be used. It pass encrypted messages around without any communication towers active using just the cell phone own antenna.

It uses buetooth and WiFi radios in your phone to communicate directly with other FireChat users. No internet or cellular service needed. But range is about 200 feet. So the more users, the bigger its “network” gets.

You need to download it and make and account beforehand, can't be shared after the network goes down since it won't ne possible to make an account with no access to Internet.

This can help us in getting information when the communication systems across the Kashmir is blocked and this can be an important way of sending your message to the world. Be safe everyone and never be silent.

Its something better than nothing but it can be easily jammed. Jamming WiFi and bluetooth is really easy and requires only software and a AP / Bluetooth module. They should actually use DSSS radio. It was in 802.11-B, ie previous version of WiFi.

If they are serious about keeping comms on, someone should look into making directional antena. Extends range and makes communication easier, espcially in a door to door kind of communication.

Indians are pretty sure we are not declaring war on Pakistan anytime soon. All this build up have gone out of proportion. It maybe preparation for August 15 celebrations and to prevent any processions on August 14. Both India Pakistan have heightened tensions every year during their respective Independence day celebrations.

Mukti Bahini was only possible because there was a majority supporting them and a lot of east Pakistanis who escaped to India. Kashmiris are divided between Independence, be with India or Pakistan and there is no large scale migration to Pakistan. So, you have to complement with fighters from your side which have to go through LOC to reach there and gather supporters.

i do not know if you are living under a stone or not but Indian occupied Kashmir is under a curfew, 180000 Indian forces are in Kashmir, highest number since 1947
