As you make more ships you should try and make more parts indigenous until you even make their engines yourself maybe someday you will have a dispute with the west and you have to build everything yourself, Turkey still has time and in a decade you will be a lot more independent in your military industry.

For that TF-100 will have ESSM launchers.

As far as i know first ships will be delivered at :

TF-100 late 2014/early 2015
TF-2000 2016-2020

They will be operated on coastal waters for anti submarine warfare under protection of land based AA missiles (FD-2000,I Hawk XXI) and other frigates (SM-1,ESSM).

I think Milgem is good but PN was once considering it to be produced but I think they seeking a similar design like the F-22P Block-IIs class one which would be 3800 tons; like making a smaller version as Corvette of 2100-2500 tons for PN.
