Kayani implemented emergency upon Musharraf’s consent, claims Shujaat

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ) Chief, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has claimed that General (R) Ashfaq Pervez Kayani got the emergency implemented upon Musharraf's consent – ARY News reports.
He said that former President General (R) Pervez Musharraf consulted everyone regarding the imposition of emergency in the state, which was implemented by General (R) Kayani on November 3, 2007.
Shujaat added that everyone should be held accountable including the military in the treason case.
He expressed his determination to state truth before the court that Musharraf did consult on the issue.
The PMLQ Chief further said that he was in favor of emergency for the sake of maintaining law and order, while he also mentioned that whatever is ongoing with Pervez Musharraf, cannot be regarded as justice.
