What's new

Kawasaki Heavy, Mitsubishi to supply train cars for Dhaka project

How does it matter if it is for an established plant or a new plant ? They don't share much, other than location and few administrative/support infra.

We are building 5, 2X700 MW PHWRs for $2.2 billion each, but's that our own IP.

And how much do you think land acquisition would cost ? how much land do you think a NPP would need ?

Obviously you know little about the infra and project management thats required to build a new plant versus adding reactors to an established one. First try to do a bit of research before you start to spew the usual bribble.

Try planing the construction of a critical nuclear plant on soft alluvial soil with shifting sedimentary river banks.

Tokyo metro 8000 series (1981)...looks familiar @bluesky ?

If you think these are highly advanced, you can buy second hand ones just like your JDM cars.

Sure, anything that floats.

BTW, the estimated cost of 10 GW Jaitapur project (Areva's EPR LWRs) was $17 billion.

You clown, how does this Hyundai- BEML JV product look bad...

Watch the seats of Indian coaches and compare them with the Japanese one of 80's. Do Indian coaches use wooden board as seats? How horrible. However, It is fine if the Indian factories themselves have produced them. I hope, someday we will build ours.

Do that look like wood to Bangladeshis ? It's silicon foam seats used everywhere.

Seating arrangement on Delhi Metro's airport express where there the distance is longer.

Above is a train for Hanzomon Line. This one is destined for Chuo Rinkan Station, as written at top right. It is always a semi-express train. 80's or what the quality is always best for that time. Seats are not like the Indian trains where your a** will burn with pain because it is made of cheap materials.

Yes, the seating arrangement is good for long or medium distance trains. Indian trains are generally good only with a few flaws. But, I asked you if these are built in India or are imported. To me, even a shoddy product built locally is priceless.

Sure, they are not like MRT seats in Bangkok & Shanghai too. And several other metro rails everywhere in the world which uses same seats as HyundaiBeml/Alstom/Bombardier/ Siemens/CNR rolling stock used in India.

But, I asked you if these are built in India or are imported.

Three manufacturers build metro rolling stock here in India to global standards. Bombardier has started exports as well.

LOL...bongs crying about Indian standards as though they are richer and more developed than Australians.

Just import everything you worthless BD dolts...and then cry why your realised consumption is so low and the project cost (even after what BAL goons and bureaucrat thugs take for their baksheesh) is astronomically high.

You are not a producer nation, never will be....fundamentally why Dhaka will stay in the 0 - 5% percentile of liveable cities, with or without a metro system and other exhorbitant bandaid measures (because they simply do not strive for long term economies of scale neither do they fundamentally address the underlying problem of a disgusting blistering craphole that is Dhaka).

even the trains that Indian facilities designed and built completely match the best in the world in their class. those that build for Indian rail are ones like Bombardier, again top class in the world. You should probably talk less.

:lol::laugh::rofl:...I think you should ease off a little bit on them, not pile on them like the second world war was crashing on them every time

I go hard at them when one of them drags India in without any provocation as seen in post 6....like they seem to relish knowing what is going to come....and surprise surprise yet another derailed thread. Not interested in waging sustained posts against these fools like I used to, so I will just unload it all into one reply now....short and simple.

I engage more pleasantly when they stick focused to the topic....and don't get triggered out of the blue against India.

I play by simple rules :)

Is every Bangladeshi on this forum an idiot ?

Both those Japanese trains there looks like older stock, whereas that Bangalore one is newer. Nice try proving your point with a low res image though...
