Militant, Soldier Killed In Doda Gunfight

Doda- A militant and an army soldier have been killed in ongoing gunfight in Posta-Potra village in Gundana area of Doda district on Sunday, officials said.

The gunfight started when state forces launched a joint operation in Posta-Potra village in Gundana area, 26 kms from Doda town, following information about presence of some militants, the officials said.

An Army jawan was critically injured in the initial firing and later succumbed to injuries while being evacuated to hospital, they said.

Inspector General of Police, Jammu zone, Mukesh Singh said one of the hiding militants was killed in the ongoing operation.

The operation is on and further details are awaited, Singh said.

The officials said joint teams of Army’s Rashtriya Rifles, police and CRPF were launched on Saturday night after inputs were received about presence of two suspected terrorists inside a house.

As the search parties were moving towards the target area, they came under heavy fire which was retaliated, the officials said, adding, reinforcements have been rushed to the area and further details are awaited.

I am surprised by the Kashmiri Mujahideens' sophisticated training and execution of Ops. Just in last month or two alone, They have killed highly trained unit of Special Forces, Indian Commanding Officer (Colonel), Indian Major, and many other soldiers and officers. And best part is, most of these are gun-fights and man-to-man battle (not like IED decimation at Pulwama where 50 Indian soldiers were killed in one strike).

Kashmiri Mujahideens are better trained at this point than your average Indian soldier.

It's a well known fact accepted by Indian army itself.
But in think the pulwama style attacks is a way to go,they are more effective. 1 freedom fighter will kill 40-50 Invaders in one attempt. 10-15 of such attacks and trust me those dark lendu scums will shit their pants because they are not like Afghanistan or pakistan to face those suicide bombings and later emerge as victorious. They are coward people.
