Featured Kashmir not on agenda of OIC foreign ministers’ meeting

It was already pre-planned to protect the interest.

Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has failed to fulfill its key mandate while being openly biased to the Saudi Regime.
We all know Saudi regime tilt.
There are recent glaring examples of OIC total bias toward the Saudi regime and protect those countries where they have their investment.

Even the pro-Saudi UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon condemned Saudi brutality at the funeral in Yemen terming it a heartless attack which violated international humanitarian law. The world has condemned this blatant carnage of innocent Yemeni but the OIC has remained silent as if nothing has happened. Indeed this scandalous silent will forever remain a constant reminder on how the OIC has turned into a Saudi puppet.

There is little or no cooperation between 57 OIC member states. The OIC in its current structure is polarized and being used as a propaganda tool aimed at attempting to impose the Saudi regime as the leader of the Islamic world. After nearly five-decade since its formation, this pan Islamic organization has not made any major achievements be it in political, economic or cultural fields. Indeed it has only served as a talk shop for the kings and dictators.
Tens of Millions of Muslims across the world have been killed in wars led by Western states and the Israeli regime but the OIC has failed to act. Indeed the OIC was formed to confront the Israeli regime's occupation of the Al Aqsa Mosque but has completely veered off on its stated objective. The Saudi regime which controls the OIC is now having close ties with the Israeli regime which continues to occupy the Al Aqsa Mosque, so Muslims and especially Palestinians have completely lost hope on OIC. By allowing itself to be hijacked and polarized by the Saudi rulers, the OIC has lost its relevance among Muslim masses.

Do you think OIC will stand with us on kashimir cause?
Pakistan and Turkey coordination on recent conflict between azerbhaijan-Armenia . Did you see how both countries stand solid over 30 years old issue and now it is resolved. New block is emerging with strong grass roots.OIC will become inactive in few years becuase arabi doesnt have strong army to resolve any issue ,just have oil money.

Its our policy whether you or those good for nothing Arab world likes it or not. Yes in real, its futile exercise for decades but it has symbolic value for us. It depicts who are with us whose not. In the last few years we inclined more towards China and in Muslim world, we see Turkey as our major alliance now.

(Pakistan) Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was one of its major master mind. It was a masterstroke that time diplomatically but with in few years time its significance was neutralized after the murder of King Faisal, hanging of Bhutto and Iran-Iraq war.

Clearly Pak has lost any little diplomatic leverage it might have had before. It has little usefulness to the Arab world now.

It's all about the money now; had it been about Islam or brotherhood then things would be very different.

In reality, Pakistan cannot trump India financially in the middle east and hence will always play 2nd fiddle until some miracle happens.

.
Sometimes even I am amazed at diplomatic prowess of India.
Its not about indian diplomatic prowess.
Its about Pakistan stopped being cannon fodder for gulf states.
Now they are showing thier anger this way.like going close with india and other things.

.
so you're going to side with a shiite against a sunni majority country???

Pakistan are majority Sunni.

Should we care about the Saudi Monarchy?? In my opinion MBS is holding his own country, brothers and clan under hostage. What was all the accountability about when hundreds of Prince's were locked up and made to cough up Billions of USD and made to commit to a lifetime of silence in exchange for freedom?

.
India has changed its constitution, and annexed Indian controlled Kashmir. Pakistan is about to do the same with Gilgit-Baltistan. I have a gut feeling that both countries have done their calculations(no room for conflict, no solution through UN/diplomacy), and have decided to split Kashmir between each other, as is.

.
Can we just annex Saudi Arabia already. They have an incompetent military. We can even tactical nuke them as we please, they are really in no position to retaliate. We can use Iranian help too.
What are you on

This is the Gulf nations way of making Pakistan pay for not getting more involved in that regions mess, and more specifically on "their" side of the mess. I would argue that no longer getting some lip service from nations that clearly do not give a dime about Kashmir is better than Pakistani lives going to waste in the mountains of Yemen.

Yes, but have to consider everything - financially, in terms of the cheap oil, soft loans and the billions in remittances from Pakistani nationals working there, can Pakistan afford to lose this?

.
Pakistan must boycott this useless and worthless organization...

and BTW nothing would happen either had they included Kashmir in their so called agendas.

.
Why would Kashmir be on the agenda.
Agenda

1. Worship Israel

Eat lots of biryani

Ummah sorted

ISLAMABAD: The Kashmir dispute has not been included in the agenda of the two-day meeting of foreign ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) being held in Niger’s capital Niamey from Friday.
The OIC statements, both in English and Arabic, made no specific mention of Kashmir in the agenda announced in Riyadh.
OIC Secretary General Dr Yousef Al-Othaimeen was quoted in the official statement as having said that the meeting would discuss the Palestinian cause, the fight against violence, extremism and terrorism, Islamophobia and defamation of religion, the situation of Muslim minorities and communities in non-member states, fundraising for the Rohingya case at the International Court of Justice, as well as the promotion of dialogue among civilisations, cultures and religions, and other emerging matters.
The agenda of the Niamey meeting also includes discussion on the political, humanitarian, economic, social and cultural and other issues related to science and technology, the media and the progress made in the implementation of the “OIC-2025: Plan of Action” document. It would, moreover, feature a brainstorming session on “Security and Humanitarian Challenges Confronting African Sahel States Members of the OIC”.

Pakistan has since the annexation of occupied Kashmir by India been demanding a special meeting of the OIC foreign ministers on the dispute. The meeting has not been convened so far because the Saudis, who wield a virtual veto in the 57-member bloc of Muslim countries, has not supported Islamabad’s move.
The latest omission of Kashmir from the agenda of the regular foreign ministers’ meeting comes at a time when ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia/UAE remain strained over what Pakistani diplomats say are “unfulfilled expectations”.
A diplomatic source separately said that this time OIC Contact Group on Kashmir would not meet either. The hosts declined a Pakistani request for a meeting on the pretext of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi left Islamabad on Wednesday for participating in the OIC meeting.
The Foreign Office said Mr Qureshi would highlight the aggravating human rights situation in occupied Kashmir after last year’s annexation and introduction of measures to change the demographic structure of the Muslim-majority and disputed region.
Iftikhar A. Khan adds: The foreign minister, meanwhile, wrote a letter to the president of the United Nations Security Council and the secretary general, urging the Security Council to exercise its direct responsibility to prevent India from perpetrating its criminal colonial project to change the demographic structure of the disputed territory.
The letter also calls for securing the implementation of the UN resolutions which recognise Kashmiris’ legitimate right to self-determination through a free and impartial plebiscite under the UN auspices.

Just leave the organization already. Why is Pakistan still in it, and why is Pakistan still trying to stay close to GCC countries.

It's time to shift your policy, and move away from the backward dump that is the Middle East.
It was a diplomatic blunder by IK led government by not attending the Malaysian summit. We should had done that to keep pressure on the Saudis. Its time to revive that.

If the Government has any sense, it needs to find ways to appropriately shift the job market to other countries.

The job market is the GCC's entite bargaining chip. But to shift it, their probably have to be a change in how those people going abroad so they don't end up colliding with others.
