Kashmir internationally recognised disputed territory: Chinese envoy

100% agreed. We should let the international community know, but don't expect anyone to take action. We wouldn't see anyone else taking action. This would be Pakistan's war, and Pakistan's alone.
They are building a narrative as someone pointed out here and that is a brilliant strategy but somewhere down the line we shall have to take the unwanted and dangerous decision of going ballistic on the gangus. No prisoners taken.

This map by the Britishers. Your own map that i posted above also clarifies your historical territory. Anyway the governments will decide and i want it to be resolved peacefully without any conflict. There doesnt need to be one.
We had border disputes with UK back then, we never agreed with their demarcation, India was a made up country by Britain, British caused a lot of troubles in south Asia and the middle east by their random maps.

Whatever the Chinese say on record, i am not interested in it one bit, i am more interested in what is brewing up behind the scenes between Pak and China on the issue. Regardless, this is our fight and we shouldn't be expecting much from anyone. Any positive gesture is always welcome from the Chinese but having said that, they wont be fighting this war for us. Period.

Agree. Pakistan shall not expect much from China, as far as Kashmir is concerned.

That is pretty strong language from the Chinese. Indians should be worried !

These strong words for Pakistani years only. As long as Kashmir poses no threat to Chinese interests, they will do anything about Kashmir beyond the usual.

We have a mechanism with them for this. And also even they know that Aksai Chin is captured territory and therefore up for negotiation. Their main contention is with Arunachal Pradesh. So, not worried about them. Its relatively calm than our western borders.

Another reason China will remain quiet about Kashmir -- the ceding of Aksai Chin to China. If Kashmir is disputed territory than Aksai Chin is fair game. China doesn't want to go there. Besides, they have their own border issues with India.

Another Masood Azhar like episode has started, Chinese will realize their limitations second time.

Kashmir internationally recognised disputed territory: Chinese envoy
The Chinese envoy said that being a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, China had special responsibilities in connection with restoration of peace and stability in the region.

UPDATED: August 8, 2019 08:21 IST

China's Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing on Wednesday said that Jammu and Kashmir was an "internationally recognized disputed territory", and criticised the Indian government for unilaterally revoking its special status.

Yao, speaking to journalists, also stressed on the need for compliance with international laws and hoped that both Pakistan and India would "take a suitable decision for the betterment of the Kashmiri people", Ary News reported.

Yao said that de-escalating tension between Islamabad and New Delhi would be beneficial for the entire region.

He said that being a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, China had special responsibilities in connection with restoration of peace and stability in the region.

The envoy was echoing what Beijing said on Tuesday.

China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying on Tuesday voiced "serious concern" over the Kashmir situation and stressed that Kashmir is "a legacy of history between India and Pakistan". Beijing also said that New Delhi should avoid actions to "unilaterally change the status quo" of the state, and termed the decision to reorganise Ladakh as a union territory as "unacceptable".

In another development, the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) had said the Indian government's revocation of special status of Jammu and Kashmir violates the rights of representation guaranteed to Kashmiri people under the Indian Constitution and in international law.

ICJ's Secretary-General Sam Zarifi, in a statement, said the Indian Judiciary should look closely at serious violations of proper legislative and constitutional processes.

I agree about British, but as i pointed out your 1917 maps also verified the claim. And also the aksai chin leads to nowhere and also geographical it is separated and is different to the tibet. And the main point, it was captured in 1962. Britishers are bunch of asswholes, we can agree there.

The above becomes completely irrelevant when you consider the fact that the Chinese will/are clandestinely doing TOTs of their most advanced weapons systems to Pakistan including WMDs............:azn:.......this has been going on for decades:

http://isis-online.org/isis-reports...nuclear-weapons-time-for-pakistan-to-rever/12

That is what we ONLY need from China. Everything else we need to fight indian sub-human savages we have in abundance.
Considering that Chinese weapons, sciences and technologies are now comparable to Western/Russian standards, this is a very significant step...........:azn:.......Pakistan is MORE than capable of defending fighting against anyone........:azn:...........Remember you indians also used to claim that It was impossible for Pakistan to EVER become a nuclear weapons state with or without Chinese assistance..........:azn:

At least China condemned India's unilateral move and showed her position, some Pakistani posters attacked China over Xinjiang and claim that all Muslims are one family, now how many Muslim countries have showed their solidarity with Pakistan and condemned India over this new law like China did?

.
You just :blah: :blah: :blah:.

Here you are a nuclear state and you are still helpless and hapless on Kashmir.
I don't think its a smart move, it will cause more trouble and chaos and result can be very counterproductive, this tension won't do any good to your economy and development.

Thanks to God for making true what I had thought and said about Modi being a gift to Pakistan.

I am not sure about who is advising Modi. Was he not briefed on how and why China entered the Korean War and pushed the allied forces all they down to the current border between North and South? That was when China was poor, broke, going through a lot of internal turmoil and uncertain.

Today's China is a different beast altogether. I doubt a war will break out, but China can easily push its way all the way to New Delhi without even an effort.

Either Modi was promised the whole earth and the sun for this move, or he really is as delusional as I think he is.

All in all, things are going in Pakistan's favour.

. . .
Should the answer to trifurcation be a three front war??

Pakistan from north west of India. China from North. And all the other freedom struggles' volume turned up for India.

Tbh Pakistan military has another oppurtunity for covert movements. Only if we give ISI wings again and make those movements very very ruthless.
