The fact is, There is deep divisions and the general public or the government is ignoring it. Indians, generally dont think Kashmiri's are right. they think Kashmiri's demand for independence is illegitimate and in turn they deserve the punishment of the security forces. this mindset is not going to solve the problem. The only way Indians can resolve this is if they either recognize the right of Kashmiris or atleast they recognize their demands and come on the table to talk to them
