Sir, have been informed that they know the Mohalla she was in Lahore. When police arrived she was no longer there.

Also a line of enquiry into a mobile phone has been mentioned - but not yet released to the media.

Please note this is in addition to her statement to the media which was released today.

Further attempts to say that girl has not been located, nikkahnama is false etc are just attempts to salvage some sort of 'pride' for the family.

I really wish this hadn't gone down this way. Unfortunate for the family involved.

A sad state of affairs.

Ab masla larki ka aur us kay ghar walon ka...her family members are insisting she is 14 though, and can't legally marry of her own will.

I hope this isn't a case of forced marriage, but the groom in this case is also underage, so perhaps it genuinely might be love, or whatever you call it these days.

Baki ab Allah janay as long as there is no criminality involved.
