KARACHI RECEIVES FIRST WINTER RAIN OF THIS SEASON

Amid a severe countrywide wave of cold, a fresh spell of rain begins today (Friday). The wet spell is expected to prevail till Sunday. Karachi has received its first winter rain of this season, while upper-parts of the country are receiving rain with snowfall.

According to the weather advisory, rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Sindh during Friday to Saturday. In Punjab, rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at scattered places from Sunday to Wednesday. Rain is also expected at isolated places in southern Punjab on Saturday/Sunday, local media reported.

Moderate Showers accompanied with thunder and high winds will prevail in Karachi till Sunday night.

It has been turned into such a lovely weather man.... A bit cold here but not that sort of like Islamabad..... Jacket ka bahana mil he gaya hamain b k pehan lain......

This winter isn't that extreme as it used to be in past .

Last year to sardi se hmare ghar ki ek khirki toot gai lol . But this winter is less 'sard '.

I can't tell you the happiness we get when it rains in Karachi...

haha yeh man hum drizzle say bhi khush hojatay hain...

we used to get winters few years back ab toh winter bhi sarkar ki turhan 2 number hogaye hai

It seriously toot gai . .

Weather was so cold and maybe due to pressure of heater too affected it .
