ISLAMABAD: Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai has voiced concerns over Karachi situation, saying that the port city has become bastion of terrorism, Geo News reported.

Speaking in the National Assembly, Achakzai demanded investigation into May 12 incidents and said that without it Pakistan could not move forward.

He said after creation of Pakistan, instead of real politicians, corrupt people tried to run the country. How can such people run the country, he questioned.

lets start from jinnahpur and 90s operation when one party and one ethnicity was targetted not one but three times, why doesnt mr ackzai demand that?

Unrest in karachi is because karachietes are fighting against jihadis from last 30 years .. when our state and country men never realized difference btw and what their actions will result in. Altaf hussain is on record than criticizing jihadis , their supporters and their ways ... mehmod khan achakzai dont know $hit

In 1986 mostly urdu speaking young men were addicted with drugs ... At that time had taken some steps against drug dealers ... And had given some evidences of there existence in Al Asif Square ... So SG had conducted an operation clean up at Sohrab Goth ... And in retaliation drug dealers had done Aligarh / Qasba massacre ............

and the most important thing to note is that police/army/law enforcement just stood there and watched people getting massacred

We can't blame to army for that massacre ... Actually police is culprit and at that time drug dealers were the biggest briber to police ...........

but i have read that it was army personells who did operation against afghans in al asif square and the very same army didnt do anything when afghans attacked qazba colony in retaliation

May be ... I don't have sufficient information about that operation ... I was school going kid at that time ..
