Yes, insignificant we bitch, demand, brag day and night, why do you care? Why do you take so much time to posts here day after day? Teasing, showing frustration of various things about Bangladesh. Seems like you do not belong to those ''nobody'' who are not interested in Bangladesh. You see, there are at least 25-30 current active members from Bangladesh now posting here. But you would not find them going and trolling in Pakistani economy or other sections. Why do you care so much about what we do here? Then claiming ''insignificant'', ''nobody interested''. Don't these sound hypocrite in your mouth?

Entire GCC(KSA, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman) has combined native population of less than 25 million. And they sale 1 trillion dollar worth of oil every year. That's how GCC became rich. To become Sheikh like them, Pakistan has to sale oil worth 10 trillion dollar every year. Pakistan's oil reserve have to be several times bigger than entire world reserve now has. But still that would not suffice because the world do not have this much oil demand that they will buy 10 trillion dollar worth oil from Pakistan. So, Pakistani can not become Arab Sheikh no matter how much oil they find in Karachi. challenge.

For all of them, oil turned into curse. If vast oil reserve really discovered in Pakistan, it will most probably turn them into another Nigeria. It will make them to shelve their much needed economic reform and continue to spend recklessly, only to find more economic trouble in later date.

And for Bangladesh, yes I also do not like finding big oil. We need to take the harder path of development. Not the easy one.

Karachi oil discovery news below. But, I wonder why should it make some BD posters to get angry and jealous? It shows only the small-mindedness of these BD posters. We should develop our country and they should theirs. We must say Alhamdulillah to the good news of Pakistan. Let Allah get them more wealth.

However, I wish people there not to become more arrogant. The oil itself will not feed the huge population. People have to work hard in industries and farming to develop their country.

That is what I also think. This is why I want them also not find big oil. Imran Khan is a good leader, their current crisis won't last long and their economy will turn around. But if they find big oil, lot of the reforms will not take place.

I dont know why you are so much worried about Indian relation with BD. You do realize that we are a same geographical mass and its natural that our economy will integrate further as we progress. Our govt took a initiative to restore all pre 1947 connectivity with India including rail and road and that is huge. there will be more or less 30/40 major connecting road infrastructure. There will be visa free entry and exit like USA and Canada. We all want that in south asia except Pakistan. Pakistan want Kashmir.

Again, predictions are made based on same data provided by GoB. They don't make predictions by looking in crystal ball.

As, I said - Bangladesh isn't significant enough for me to have any feeling. As far as Pakistan is concerned, we have debates on situation, claim of government, counter claims, criticism in national media, social media and gathering unlike Bangladesh where whatever government say is gospel of truth and nobody should question it.
