I think ex CJ Iftikhar brought to justice. He has appointed 130 judges and these are his gifts to people of Pakistan and he still influence them. Watch Sadiq Jan (court reporter) last videos.

Another reason for him to be happy is his personal stance on the issue. He has always maintained that Musharraf was guilty of treason and under his government he was declared as such by the courts.

Government made those medical reports. Government took him out of ECL. Government offered him plea bargain which is not their job to begin with.

The government has been accused multiple times over the past 18 months of overstepping its boundaries and not letting institutions work independently. Government machinery has halted under this imposed war and citizens are left at the mercy of mobs and thugs on the streets.

There is a method to this madness. Everyone gets a bad press days before their retirements as to keep the sense of controversy alive in Pakistan.
