Justice Ather Minallah bombshell - Courts overthrowing PTI Govt prevented Martial Law

In response of Imran Khan objection about midnight judicial activism on toppling his govt. Justice Ather replied, if we wouldn't intervene that night would turn into Oct ,99 situation. Now you can guess what was going on behind the scenes.

When some prison vans hoovering around.

@Jango @Imran Khan @blain2 @Signalian @ziaulislam @muhammadhafeezmalik and rest ...

Lol, IHC was opened to save b****** *** as they were rumor that IK has removed him. Even if martial law had been imposed it needs to be legalized through court. Only if the judges had the balls to make civilian supreme. Instead they chose to be subservient to GHQ.

Yeah it's all hogwash. All of Pakistan's haramzaday's united against one PTI.

Strange things are happening in Pak!! In one hand the IK government is ousted at the US pressure while on the other hand tons of defense stuffs are being procured from China! Every Pak Chief comes with a different plan. What will be the game plan post November??
The US isn't really that concerned about Pakistan acquiring conventional military equipment from China.

US opposition to Imran Khan, which aligned with the corrupt Pakistan Army Leaderships own concerns, was that Imran Khan was becoming stronger and taking more independent positions and decisions. Longer term, they saw the US losing more and more influence over Pakistan. The Army saw this as a threat because they had nothing to blackmail Imran Khan with and therefore could not control him and did not want to lose their own unconstitutional influence and control over the country.

The US has always found it easier to deal with corrupt politicians and corrupt military generals, so on this the US, PMLN+PPP+Pak Army found a common cause.

Pakistani judges need to introspect.

Why are they classified as the worse 10 judiciary system in the world. Ranked 180 out of 189, if I am not wrong. A normal person going to a high court or supreme court can only dream of getting justice during his lifetime. Just check the backlog of cases pending, idiots.

The 2nd tier are just allied with PMLN, PPP and other parties while they need to remain neutral.

The level of corruption some of the judges are involved in just plain crazy, despite getting bloated salaries. Most are in PMLN’s pocket. Judges in Western countries do not make as much as their Pakistani counterparts.

These people need to be facing accountability as well. After the politicians, establishment these guys are the most corrupt institution.

Some of their achievements.

Legalizing Musharraf’s rule

Giving a slap on the wrist to Nawaz Sharif’s Panama case while he should have been convicted for a much more serious offense

Letting Shahbaz scot free when he guaranteed Nawaz will be back, Shahbaz money laundering case

Mariyam roaming despite being a criminal

Blocking the sale of Pakistan steel mill, and now it’s closed

Refusing to make progress on Zardari’s cases

Refusing to rule on countless slam dunk cases involving bureaucrats

Not holding the generals accountable for treating the constitution like a tissue paper

I agree.

I can be wrong here and I hope I am.

But from my point of view, elections rigged and PDM winning would be a good chance for the public to wake up in the form of violent protests. Only then will this corrupt political structure and the mafia supporting it would come crashing.
Some people are 🐏
Pakistanis are one of them.

So no won't happen.

We had decades of dictatorship with no protests

.
Let’s hope things have changed.

Pakistan is not what it was yesterday. The boomers are in the minority and the majority are made up of Gen X, Gen Y, millennials. Coupled with the demographic changes, there is social media and consensus that PDM are pure evil.

You never know.

Yep.

Pakistanis need to rise up against the corrupt Army leadership and Establishment like the Turks did, but all our arrogance and braggadocio and 'ghairat' is reserved for beating women and children or 'blasphemy'.

The Army leadership has played its cards well - it has basically emasculated a big chunk of Pakistanis and distracted the rest with religion, sectarianism, ethnic conflict and basic survival.

Hard to believe now that the PPP has managed to rig elections and get away with keeping Sindh so backward and under-developed with the levels of corruption and atrocities (by wealthy politicians and land owners) that we see today, without the Army leadership actively supporting them.

The Army Leadership is basically an extension of the British Colonialists - subjugate and rule over the population by dividing and conquering - just a more refined and expanded version of the same playbook.

Yeah no corruption.. just changing NAB laws so to avoid prosecution.. also, no over spending on swimming pool, 14 aug celebrations, foreign visits etc. Having (as an award) more ministers than ministries is also no corruption.. torturing journalists, opposition leaders is also no corruption.
Some naive ppl think corruption is only monetary. Real problem is moral which is actually a silly word for the patwari party and their followers.
کھاتا ہے تو لگاتا بھی ہے۔
That's a Golden Saying and tells what these people are and why they give vote to morally and financially bankrupt people.
fouji rule from behind and use ppl, patwari party, and zardari Raj to keep their chokehold over the country.

Army protects it's own interest and not Pakistan's. When India does something, this army is acting all mature to avoid confrontation (more like bunch of cowards), when it comes to oppressing Pakistanis, they deliver everytime. Lanat on these generals.

There is still a large number of people who thinks generals are some sort of "massiahs" but those who have dealt with them knows their true self. They had been doing this since the creation of Pakistan. Civilians are equally responsible for this but then again they never were faithful with pakistan. Even IK has never named b****** bajwa openly. He should and then where does he end up. I'm sure that would be the end of him. So unless pakistani people started calling generals b****** pakistan will remain a third class country.

Does the west want a military coup and are they plotting for just such a scenario ???

.
No such suggestion made , let us move forward towards election folks
There is no battle between Army and People

Army is there saving people in floods and providing supplies

Election and lets move forward

The West probably knows military coup is a thing of the past.

Best second option, a hybrid regime, post Musharraf era. The system remained intact until Apr ‘22 and this system too seems to be very unpopular in the minds of the public. (One can infer from the nasty words a common Pakistani has for the establishment)

The situation seems to be very fluid so to speak. The establishment/PDM would like temperatures to tone down and a good opening to tackle Imran. That would mean a hybrid regime with PDM and Establishment continue and each focusing on their domains like previous.

Or if Imran Khan cannot be tackled and he becomes the PM, then a new social contract would need to be enacted between Pakistanis and the politicians & establishment. Politicians taking control of foreign and security policy and army having to focus on defense of Pakistan, or something along the lines.

My guess is, they’ll tackle Imran Khan. They’ll (PDM) win the next general elections through rigging and disqualifying IK, but what they don’t know is what will be the reaction of the public post elections. Maybe nothing will happen or something will give, nobody knows.

The problem is this:

If it is true that the Army has indeed played its cards well: as you say:

The Army leadership has played its cards well - it has basically emasculated a big chunk of Pakistanis and distracted the rest with religion, sectarianism, ethnic conflict and basic survival.

Then how can an emasculated, distracted and divided population rise up against the situation as you describe it:

Pakistanis need to rise up against the corrupt Army leadership and Establishment like the Turks did, but all our arrogance and braggadocio and 'ghairat' is reserved for beating women and children or 'blasphemy'.

Given the above, it is not understandable to come to the conclusion that nothing can change for the foreseeable future?

Justice Athar minullah is lying

He opened the Islamabad high court to save bajwa's job
Bajwa had a petition ready through Army tout molvi since march because he feared Imran might remove him.
