Aside from the laila majnu dastan....all I'll say is keh agr hath main danda ho to sab kuch karna asan hota hai. Now whether you do that efficiently or a hodge podge, that's a different story. Gets sent on formal trainings, learns the technical details and science behind them. One fine morning, you cannot then chuck him into a law firm just because he took many courses in technical affairs and is competent in them.

And oh yes this reminds me, you remember the incident of destruction of AZ MBT in COIN war years ago. There was a 2nd Lt or Lt of same unit nearby in the area, he was not allowed to commandeer a MBT since he was not authorized on MBT, he was commanding an ARV.

So, here while CO of regiment/Army doesnt let a young officer (BA pass after commission) command an MBT due to less service/experience/training/education, a FA pass leading a bigger Army formation, well not reality.
