Karachiites are plagued by paranoia and they're wary of outsider parties. Karachi should vote for the party in the center. PTI or PMLN. If not that then PPP. Local parties like MQM can't do sh*t

Regardless of who they vote for, it will not change anything. Establishment want to systematically destroy Karachi and move everything to Lahore. Establishment expose themselves when they brought Mustafa Kamal/PSP in power to weaken MQM, and eventually due to other circumstances MQM split. Establishment tried to create a power vacuum in Karachi by weakening MQM but they didn’t want PPP take advantage of that so they injected PTI which had no real power in Karachi.

Establishment will continue to play their power games until there will be nothing left in Karachi. Eventually Lahore will become sports hub, financial hub, entertainment hub and travel hub.
We will be left with trash and Qoutta system.

MQM was pawn in the hand of Establishment. They brought MQM in power against Sindhi Nationalists. When MQM became too powerful, they split it into 2, MQM and MQM-H. Accused MQM for Jinnahpur plan and allowed and supported MQM factions to fight and destroy Karachi.

What is Karachi’s Participation in any sports? They destroyed Karachi and everything else with it, our education system, our jobs, our sports.

The idea of Zia to establish MQM was not bad at all. In the beginning, it proved a very good balance between urban and rural Sindh. Unfortunately, MQM misused this platform later on. Greed is a curse. To become overnight millionaires MQM started unending loot and plunder in Karachi. .They exploited the emotion of ordinary Karachites in the name of ethnicity and People like Altaf Hussain and Babar Ghauri became billionaires. The city which was once developed by their elders was destroyed intentionally at the beck and call of India and RAW. After destroying Karachi for 35 years now you guys expect PTI to fix this overnight. It will not happen at all believe me. Next election you guys are free to vote whom you like.PTI is a reality in Karachi. If the next election took place on the base of a new census and all the Pashtoon and Punjabis got registered then I am sure PTI will increase its number of seats in the next election as well.

No need to go rogue. See how much harmony there is between Pashtuns and Baloch in Balochistan. Or the Baloch tribes of Sindh and Sindhis.

If you look at the Baloch tribes of Sindh like the Talpurs and Mahars, they adopted the feudal system of Sindh and molded themselves as a permanent part of Sindh.

Infact the Sindhis east of the Indus e.g from Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas and Nawabshah, are more middle class, literate and urbanised than the Baloch Sindhis west of the Indus in Larkana, Dadu, Jacobabad etc.

Muhajirs should have been smart and spread eastwards from Karachi into the Indus delta. Where Thatta, Keti Bandar and Makli are. Bought land there, settled people there. We are fighting a losing demographic battle in Karachi.

Maybe even settled Muslims from Gujarat there.

I agree Muhagirs have been wronged and in my opinion the introduction of the quota system is the biggest culprit. It not only affected the Muhajir community but its impact on the progress of Pakistan is undeniable and it continues even today.

In Australia they are so proud of their "a fair go" policy, where it doesn't matter to them what ethnic background you belong to, what your religious beliefs are, or your financial status, everyone gets an equal chance.

I wish Pakistan learns from Australia.
