Its the SPSSC (Special purpose short service commission). You will be appointed for particular time period depend upon the requirement. After that, for PC( permanent commission), you will need to go through ISSB. The criteria of taking tests for SPSSC, is a bit different than ISSB. In this, initially, you will be tested academically and through IQ test. Then your initial medical test (eye-side, color blindness, height, weight, pulse rate, Knee knocking, ENT etc.) then personality assessment interview, Psychological Test, Final Interview by AHQ, CMB (Combined medical board), and finally merit list.

The future about this branch can better elaborate by the doctors of PAF. According to my point of view, It is the best option to join force in any of field!

Simple MBBS will get the rank of Flying Officer (LT in Pak Army) and Specialist get the rank of Squadron Leader (Major). Bright future. Now PAF Hospitals are opened for civilians. Non Specialist doctor's fee Rs. 200 outy of which 120 goes to Doctor. Specialist doctor's fee (Major) Rs.300 out of which Rs.180 for doctor. Doctors with rank Wing Commander (LT COL) fee Rs. 400
