Jf17 and Mig 35 remain the only options being evaluated for increasing interest: Argentine air force

. .
I read many comments from Argentinians on social networks. Most of them believe that jets like the JF-17 and J-10 are of poor quality, not as good as the Russian aircraft, or even garbage ...

There is no international law forbidding trash talking of JF-17, Mig-35 or J-10 on Argentinian forums being run by Argentinians while discussiog Argentinean defense needs. They need to do their due diligence, after all they are not getting any of these jets for free.

The only Jet that cannot be trashed talked about is ...... mighty Tejas :yahoo:

1. No benefits: argentina people are arrogant, they have no money but like to be judgmental and demanding, they don't want to buy much.

So it makes them more like us, Pakistanis :P (/sarcasm)

Economic transactions between China and the UK are much greater than transactions between China and Argentina. China can learn a lot from Britain [a power in science, technology, technology, economics]. The British are certainly enemies of China, but they are a respectable enemy.
Well said.
Russian aircraft such as the Mig-35, su-35 ... have higher production costs than the JF-17 and J-10 and the operating and maintenance costs are also much more expensive. Argentina wants to buy Russian fighters, but the biggest problem is that they don't have the money right now.

I read many comments from Argentinians on social networks. Most of them believe that jets like the JF-17 and J-10 are of poor quality, not as good as the Russian aircraft, or even garbage ... and the condition to buy is China and Pakistan TOT 100% technology for them. So, in my opinion, Pakistan-China should not sell the aircraft to Argentina because:

1. No benefits: argentina people are arrogant, they have no money but like to be judgmental and demanding, they don't want to buy much, they want to buy the cheapest price, and maybe they will want TOT.

2. Political Trouble: Selling JF-17 or J-10 will expose Pakistan and China to anger from Britain. It is possible to take revenge by banning cooperation, trading, investment ...

The Argentines love Russian weapons, so let them buy fighters from Russia.
Tell them that J10 is original israeli design and they will be all over it. Unfortunately, China still has image of low quality items but they are moving up the value chain in everything and very fast. They lead the way in AI, 5G and missile tech.

How is that relevant here? Subsonic ejection is likely much more simple than ejecting at mach 1.5 for example.

You don't eject at Mach 1.5, there would be no point to it. Only one pilot has ever survived a supersonic ejection.

“When I went out into the wind stream, it ripped my helmet right off my head, broke all the blood vessels in my head and face, my head was swollen the size of a basketball and my lips were the size of cucumbers. My left elbow was dislocated and pointed backward, the only thing holding my leg on was an artery, the vein, the nerve and the skin and my left leg snapped at the bottom half.” - Capt. Brian Udell.

He ejected at around Mach 1.04266. His GIBS did not survive the same ejection.

If I remember correctly, PAF pilot myvern middlecoat was in a aerial battle in his f104 and 2 mig 21fl. He was shot down and ejected at near mach speed(?) He did not survive the ejection.

CATIC's official visit began with the offer of JF-17 to Argentina
The visit has planned different work days and visits in the Argentine military industrial complex.

As we anticipated from the Military Zone , the Chinese delegation made up of envoys from the CATIC firm began their official visit to Argentina. The delegation will integrate personnel from both the Ministry of Defense and the Argentine Air Force in different technical work sessions that focus on a specific proposal: the JF-17.

The official visit had its first step on Friday of last week, with its arrival in the country and initial contacts. Only from today did the official agenda of the delegation begin, which will include various visits to facilities in the country and related to the aeronautical world.

According to official sources, the sessions include different activities centralized in the Air Force Circle, as well as visits to nerve centers in the country related to the defense industry. In this sense, a visit to FADEA and Rio Cuarto, in the Province of Córdoba, is expected soon.

The CATIC firm's proposal to Argentina, which was raised both to the force itself and to the defense portfolio, includes the offer of 12 newly manufactured JF-17 combat aircraft. Of the total number of aircraft, 10 are single seater and another 2 are two seater.

Although cofabrication or assembly has not yet been discussed, it is estimated that the visits to Córdoba will be carried out with the objective of surveying the country's industrial capacities to face a similar challenge.

The JF-17 is currently competing with Russian aircraft to position itself as the replacement for the Mirage weapons system , decommissioned in 2015 and which led Argentina to lose its supersonic interception capability.

Although not formalized, the force seeks that for the closure of the current management Argentina will find a signed contract and sustained steps to incorporate the most important capacity that an air force has.

At such speeds, the wind feels like a concrete wall slamming against you and tearing you to pieces. When you drive fast in your car, try sticking your hand or face out and imagine 10 times as much resistance and heat, combined with the shock of being ejected upwards really fast which can cause spine injuries.

Reporting is incorrect - China is selling FC-1 Block III, that is DIFFERENT from JF17 Block III ... and it is not a matter of being pedantic..

Shouldn't PAC team also had accompanied them? Both countries have 50% stake in the fighter.

Or is there an arrangement that both countries can independently market, manufacture and sell?

In case each country is allowed to sell independently, shouldn't the name be FC1 and not JF17 Thunder as that name is property of PAC?
