Sick. There’s something really wrong with Trump, why give in to Israel on everything?

Don't worry, these are signs from Allah - I see things falling into place as they should be in accordance to Hadith and everything.

Remember once they people (Palestineans) are pushed even further things will blow up in Israeli and Western faces. This is more a test for the Arabs than anyone else - they have done betrayal and betrayals on the ummah and now its time to face the music for their actions. Look up Al-Ahd and Al-Fatat and how these Arab Officers of the Ottoman Empire betrayed everyone and sided with Brit's, to the point they even ditched their forces to side with the British and left the Ummah soldiers hanging.

This doesn't change anything from US perspective as they continue to give aid to the parasitic jew state, whether or not the parasitic jew state violates international laws.

I’m not sure this is a sign, its been a sign every day since 1948. But the Arabs, despite their overwhelming numbers, and strategic encirclement if Israel have been absolutely hopeless. The Sauds etc despite the oil wealth blessed on them, why have they been so useless for the Palestinian cause?
Only the Ottomans gave Palestinians dignity for the past 500 years.

The Sauds don't care about the Palestinians and why should they? Sauds are cowards and slaves.
The Ottomans are long gone and their inheritors, the modern day Turks love Israel.

They are being pushover since the beginning. Nothing going to happen. US will buy Palestinian leaders on behalf of Israel. Stick n carrots approach. Israel spank them, US comes up with few millions and list of demands. Palestinian are stupid to fall for it every time.

The US has shifted its position on Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, no longer viewing them as inconsistent with international law.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the status of the West Bank was for Israelis and Palestinians to negotiate.

Israel welcomed the move - a reversal of the US stance under President Donald Trump's predecessor, Barack Obama.

Settlements are communities established by Israel on land occupied in the 1967 Middle East war.

They have long been a source of dispute between Israel and the international community, and the Palestinians.

The Palestinian Authority said the US decision was "completely against international law".

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the policy shift "rights a historical wrong", and called on other countries to do the same.

What is the Jewish settlements controversy?
The issue of Jewish settlements is one of the most contentious between Israel and the Palestinians, who see them as an obstacle to peace.

About 600,000 Jews live in about 140 settlements built since Israel's 1967 occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The settlements are considered illegal under international law, though Israel disputes this.

The Palestinians have long called for the removal of all settlements, arguing that their presence on land they claim for a future independent Palestinian state makes it almost impossible to make such a state a reality.

What US position is Pompeo overturning?
In 1978, the Carter administration concluded that the establishment of civilian settlements was inconsistent with international law, although in 1981 the late President Ronald Reagan disagreed with that conclusion, saying he did not believe the settlements were inherently illegal.

For decades, the US described the settlements as "illegitimate", refraining from calling them "illegal" and sheltering Israel from condemnatory resolutions on the issue at the United Nations.

However one of the last acts of the Obama administration, at the end of 2016, was to refrain from usual US practice by not vetoing a UN resolution that urged an end to illegal Israeli settlements.

President Trump's administration has displayed a much more tolerant attitude towards settlement activity than Mr Obama's.

Mr Pompeo said the Trump administration had studied all sides of the debate and agreed with Reagan, adding: "The establishment of Israeli civilian settlements in the West Bank is not per se inconsistent with international law."

Where are the West Bank settlements?

This is just to provoke a UN vote like last time with the Jerusalem capital thing.

This way when Russia or China present themselves as “friends of Israel” this vote can be brought up.

Remember the next administration can simply nix everything Trump did but the repercussions of the UN vote on Israeli public opinion of countries will linger.

How convenient. The international law must have magically relaxed some of her provisions with regard to Israel so USA is now supporting further settlements. International law can be funny some times. I am still hopeful that one day magically the International law will start to speak on Kashmir.

Palestine is done and dusted. That is the sad truth.

That's true also, Palestine is done - their's not much that can be done the way their land is cut to pieces makes it viably impossible to establish a country. I was at one point of the opinion they should just give up and merge with Israel and forget the fighting because when you really look at it the Arabs support hasn't done any good and in all honestly its a useless support group to have anyways.

The other groups Fatah., etc are useless the last chance they had was before Israel even got nuclear weapons once they were in hand it was game over - after that is just became a Habibi camel-liped service.

Their is no such thing as International Law and other bullshit - the strong right the rules hence Pakistan shouldn't have bothered with that ICC case among many others.

Correct on all counts.

Palestinians should have merged with Israel and make peace with the jews. No point in fighting when their arab brethens have abandoned them and they have no good weapons to fight against Israel.
