Jeremy Corbyn hit with EGG by 'pro-Brexit protestor' during visit to mosque in London

JEREMY Corbyn has been hit with an egg lobbed by a "pro-Brexit" protester as he visited a mosque in London.
Labour's leader was visiting the Muslim Welfare House in Finsbury Park in north London this afternoon.
One man, thought to be a pro Brexit campaigner, has been arrested by the Met Police.
It comes after Corbyn said he would back a second referendum on Britain leaving the EU to avoid a no-deal Brexit.
Cops confirmed a 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault after the incident in Seven Sisters Road.
The man was "quickly detained", the Met Police said in a statement.
Corbyn was taking part in the fifth annual Visit My Mosque Day, in which Muslim places of worship across the UK open their doors to the public.
The Muslim Council of Britain which organises the event, says around 250 places of worship will be welcoming people on Sunday to tackle negative stigma around Islam
Corbyn has been urged to join forces with other opposition leaders to push for a new Brexit referendum.
The leader of the Liberal Democrats, Sir Vince Cable, and the Westminster heads of the SNP and Plaid Cymru, Ian Blackford and Liz Saville Roberts, have written to Mr Corbyn, inviting him to a joint meeting.
The move follows Labour's shift in favour of backing a new referendum on Brexit.
Sir Vince said: "Opposition leaders have been meeting for several months working together to secure a People's Vote.
"Now that Labour has decided to support giving people the final say, Jeremy Corbyn should join us, so we can work together and stop Brexit.
"I hope Jeremy Corbyn doesn't waste any more time. He must do the right thing and join the Liberal Democrats in offering the people an exit from this Tory mess."
Ms Saville Roberts said: "Labour have a face for all occasions, but now they've run out of masks.
"Jeremy Corbyn must now follow his own policy and back a People's Vote or face being the midwife of Brexit.
"Opposition MPs have worked together for months. Our door has always been open to the Labour leader, but so far he has refused.
"No more delays, no more excuses - Labour must work with other opposition parties to deliver a People's Vote and a way out of this Brexit mess."
Corbyn is also facing growing pressure over allegations of systemic anti-Semitism in his party – which has seen numerous MPs quit Labour.
Shadow chancellor John McDonnell rejected suggestions that Labour is institutionally anti-Semitic, although he acknowledged there is "clearly" a "problem" within the party.
He said said a "tiny number" of members have been involved in some form of anti-Semitism and argued this has to be eradicated from the party.
The MP also noted the party needs to react quicker in dealing with anti-Semitic allegations, adding on some occasions it needs to be "more ruthless, more severe, and we're doing that".
His remarks came as Labour seeks to appoint former lord chancellor Charlie Falconer to scrutinise disciplinary procedures.
A Met Police spokesman said: "On Sunday at around 3.52pm an egg was thrown at a member of Parliament.
"The incident occurred on Seven Sisters Road.
"A 41-year-old man was quickly detained by officers on scene and arrested on suspicion of assault.
"He is currently in custody at a north London police station."
