Japan unveils massive $110 billion plan for Asia’s infrastructure to counter China

. . . .
I like that East Co-Prosperity sphere in this context. Economy & Science and Technology development.

Kap kun na krap.

Precisely, its the way toward the future --- economic integration + cultural exchange. :)

Ho Chi Minh was , indeed, a great anti-Imperialist power.

The same league as Admiral Togo, who's command of the Imperial Navy saw to the annihilation of the Russian Fleet.

The only Asian Power to ever defeat a great European Naval Power, ever.
not the same league as Togo, Ho Chi Minh was not a military man, he was a humble man, an educated man. his father once served in the vietnamese imperial court. Ho´s goal was to end vietnam humiliation and restore independence. he was fluent in chinese (+French, English, Russian, and Cantonese) and a close friend of mao zedong. Vo nguyen giap, his close General had the fighting skills.

Indeed, Ho Chi Minh was a revolutionary spirit that came out of post-colonial Asia. In fact many leaders in Asia came out such as Ho Chi Minh of French Indochina, Sukarno of Indonesia, Subhas Chandra Bose of India. All were agitators against European Imperialism.

With UK's support Russian traveled half of the earth without proper supply, then ambushed by IJN with UK's information.
UK support russian's local to Japan every day.
LOOK at the map, you can see how UK's colonies is located on russian's way to Asia.

Well that's just geo political games /strategy we played very well, we indeed saw Russia as a threat, reason we supported Japan behind the scenes. However you can't deny that we didn't fight the battle for Japan. The imperial Japanese navy fought all by itself and implemented it's own battle plan to decimate the so called 'mighty ' Russian navy. Even so, Japan's naval fleet was dwarfed in all fields by the Russian naval fleet. so it's no surprise that It shocked even we in the west/britain that Russia lost so terribly. Moral of the story: never underestimate the Japanese when it comes to war. Even the mighty U. S learned this the hard way during the first battle of the Philippines during the Second World war which the U. S lost.

.
I also remember, that Americans started studying Sun Tzu, because Nguyen Giap was the one who was fond of Sun Tzu. At one time it is said, that he remembered every phrase of the "Art of War."

1. Well, UK will not shock. Since most of Japanese warships is from UK and fund of war also from UK.
UK report russians location to Japan daily, but Russian is most blind.

2.U.S lost that battle since they don't believe Japan dare to attack an enemy which is 10 times of its size without support from an even stronger ally.

The Chinese members here forget of the blood war / conflict the British Empire had with the Russians in the Crimean War. In fact, one of the threats Britain had from Russia was the Russian Baltic Fleet, which occasionally moved from its home base in St. Petersburg to the Black Sea, where it could harass the Royal Navy as well as the French Imperial Navy during the course of the Crimean War.

When Russia's Baltic Fleet (its greatest and largest fleet) was completely and utterly annihilated by the Imperial Navy, the threat of Russian's Imperial Navy was nullified. In fact, from 1905 till the end of the 1950s, Russia ceased to be a Naval Power. And proved no threat to either the Allies, or even the Germans from WW1 to WW2.

4. Magnetic Levitation
5. Lens and Camera Industry (Commercial)
6. Cultural Industry- Whole world is in love with Anime, Manga etc.

I was thinking about a possible solution to Diaoyu/Senkaku conflict.
Would you give China open support for reunification with Taiwan, in lieu of its withdrawing claims over the islands?

Tell me, please.

Why is it that the Imperial Japanese Navy utterly decimated both the Russian Baltic Fleet and Chinese Beiyang Fleet?

For the Chinese Beiyang Fleet, it was mostly built by British engineers, and the Chinese naval commanders also were trained by British naval war college mentors. Still, the Chinese were annihilated in the Yalu River. Why did Japan succeed while Chinese failed ?
