This is an artcile on from a Jewish lobby talking about the MASSIVE FRUSTRATIONS of he Israeli military over the F35 induction from USA and how the LAVI fighter programme should never have been shelved.

Israel feels cornored and betrayed by USA who are charging $150m each for the small order of 20 F35 and not allowing ISRAEL TO add its own world class systems to their purchased fleet.

More importantly there is a harsh lesson for india and pakistan do not trust the AMERICANS.

indenguious or joint venture is the way forward be it LCA TEJAS JF17 or PAK FA do not sell your independance

ALSO do not depend on one supplier better to diversify. ie Indegious, western and eastern

That does sound like a pretty good idea. India should be able to take care of the bulk of the design and testing work by herself. We usually get bogged down on things like FBW, Radar, etc. In this regard the Israeli weapons establishment is world class. They should have no problem taking care of these things as well as some of the weaponisation. The kaveri seems to be on track to be ready for the AMCA. The Israelis might even be able to get us some valuable info on stealth design. If we team up with them I am sure we will be able to over some some of the usual Indian "delays" that plagued the LCA.

Yes!we should and give the avionics part to israel except our indigenous radar already nearby completion by 2012 !! Beside avionics we can give them weaponisation of AMCA,their product not only superior but also reasonable price. Hope GOI AND HAL THINKING ABOUT THE SAME.

the only thing israely dnt have is aircraft engine by that time the indian kaveri will be ready.

Israel and india can make AMCA better then PAK-FA/f-22

If we really serious about a 5th gen aircraft then we must not shy away to outsource say 20 to 30%work .to them to make it viable.Else we never going to complete this even in 2025 due to our immature avionics and weapon system industries.

I think he is talking about radar for LCA mk2 which we are developing with Israel
