An Israeli military vehicle has come under fire from the Syrian side of the occupied Golan Heights near the demarcation line, according to the Israeli army.
Earlier the chief of the army, Lieutenant General Benny Gantz warned that Israel might be drawn into the Syrian conflict after Syrian tanks entered the buffer zone on Sunday.

Syria and Israel have never officially ended the 1967 Middle East War in which Tel Aviv captured part of the Golan Heights and annexed it in 1981.

Since a 1974 disengagement agreement between the two countries, UN forces have patrolled a buffer zone on the Heights.

It could be FSA..It serves them well to provoke a clash between israel and Syrian govt..

I think as a trial run, both Israel and Turkey should start shelling the rebels' positions and see what's their reaction.

I mean the likelihood of them trying to force a foreign military intervention against Assad is high and what's more? They're islamists desperate for wanting power.

So if Turkey and Israel start shelling the anti-Assad forces and then there is prolonged quiet after that, it will simply mean that the rebels were trying to instigate a foreign intervention against Assad.

Seems like rebels are the ones calling the shots now. Its no longer under western control but rather ****** control. They decide who to engage at their free will. :sniper:
