Israeli soldiers fire on Al Jazeera correspondent

.
Saving their "God given land" :agree: bloody theocratic state.Throwing tear gas on purpose :(

.
^^^^ LOL @ 1:36.
What an erroneous title!! That reporter is reporting about some protesters and the Israelis are firing tear gas shells to disperse the crowd. One lands near her and the press goes bonkers about Israelis shooting a reporter!!! That was a ******** tear gas shell, not a grenade!!!
Do you really think they would miss if they fired real/rubber bullets? But hey what can be said of such a mentality which creates such reports.

.
How pathetic of you to ignore the attack on media, regardless of what was involved it was an attack.

1:03 also ,it happened two times. And at 1:34 two shells are fired on purpose again,if its not on purpose then Israeli soldiers maybe drunk.Israeli have poor record when it comes to treatment of journalists.

gubbi

She was a civilian and civilians are not used to bear the tear gas. Allow me to feed you some tear gas for a minute only and i bet you would find it worse than a grenade!!

And BTW, it just didnt land near her, it was on purpose!!

Cant you se the distance between where the reporter is standing and the barbed wire where the protesters have gathered?

Professional armies dont miss their targets, atleast we dont!

Anyone having neutral thinking can see it was done on purpose, but i think Indians can't see such things just like the Americans, as both of them are friends to Israel, having same kind of barbaric records :)

Let's be thankful that, because of the cameras, they didn't just shoot her point blank and write her off as a 'militant'.

Couldn't agree more bro.

Of course Xeric. Isnt that the reason why tear gas nades are used? On civilians?

Of course, where would you fire a tear gas nade? Into the crowd, to disperse it, isnt it?
Now I wont dwell into the politics of the protest, for thats an issue for another thread (lets briefly say, I dont like the barrier wall and neither the Israeli settlements). The primary purpose of the Israeli police was to disperse the crowd/protesters and they used tear gas for that reason. Fatalities from tear gas shells are indeed very very rare.
The title of the video in fact is what I am against. It implies that the Israelis were shooting bullets at the reporter, when infact she is reporting about the protestors and obviously tear gas nades land near her.
Tell me Xeric, do cops love reporters? Nah!! Tear gas them!!! Its the same the world over.
Professional armies dont miss their targets, atleast we dont!
Now if you miss, would you be professional? ;)

Of course, if only we could do a Daniel Perl on them!! That would be the icing on the cake.

These things doesnt happen in civilized world, even in Pakistan a outrage will be created if police do that.Secondly the reporter was clearly standing away from these protesters,so shelling her is illogical.

It wasnt the GoP machinary at work, thats the biggest difference.

. . .
So you are saying Indian army aren't as bad as the Taliban.

Well, good for you! :cheesy:

Oh I do wish they were. See Daniel Perl incident stopped Americans (the very same Americans who were your BFFs till China came along) from roaming freely in Pakistan. If Indian forces were brutal enough, vermin like Geelani, Malik would have disappeared long ago. They aint brutal enough yet.
I say Indian armed forces become brutal enough so that these separatist vermin think twice about demanding secession from India.

You must be living in Paradise then. Cops hate reporters, and vice versa. Only time they 'like each other' is when they work together, reporters reporting on police/forces work. Period.

GoP is for all intents and purposes toothless! Now ISI controlled elements are a different case altogether.

And as to reporters, how many were allowed to cover the Buner operation, operations in Waziristan, Swat valley etc? What about reports of civilian casualties at the hands of Pakistani armed forces? Oh, so its ok if your forces kill Pak civies but its an atrocity if Indian forces deal firmly with gun-toting, skewed religion spewing, innocent civilian killing, drug crazed, "freedom fighters". Nice!

No doubt india has an immaculate Human Rights Record!
And human rights? Xeric? coming from a cerebral individual like you, I thought you knew better than take cheap potshots at a naive person like me. Do 'google' Human rights in Pakistan.

Well i have googled that many a times and i consider ourselves much better than you in this regards. Atleast our citizen dont declare with sheer shamelessness that our cops hate reporters.!!

As for the buner coverage i think you should stop watching the Saas Baho dramas on Star Plus and some heed to Pakistani and international reporting. Not only Pakistani media (which brainless and sensationalist as your media) but no international news coverers who have been to buner/swat have ever said that there were civilian casualties, apart from the very few collateral damages in the very start!
