Israeli general warns of 'devastating war' with Hezbollah

JERUSALEM – A top Israeli military leader on Wednesday issued a stern warning to the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, saying any future war between the two enemies will unleash "devastating" damage on Lebanon.
Maj. Gen. Yair Golan, Israel's deputy chief of staff, told foreign journalists that Hezbollah has developed capabilities that present "unprecedented" threats to Israel. Israel estimates the group has over 100,000 rockets and missiles in its arsenal.

Golan said any future war will be "much harsher" than anything experienced in the past 20 years.

"In any future crisis, they are not going to see a small war in Lebanon. It's going to be decisive. It's going to be full-scale war," he said.
"That could create devastating damage to Lebanon," including in civilian areas, where he said Hezbollah hides and operates. "There is no other way to take out this threat without ... creating large damage to the Lebanese infrastructure, to Lebanese houses and other civilian facilities."

Israel and Hezbollah fought a monthlong war in the summer of 2006 that ended in a stalemate.
The fighting killed about 1,200 Lebanese, including hundreds of civilians, and about 160 Israelis. Israeli airstrikes caused heavy damage to Lebanon's infrastructure, while Lebanon fired several thousand rockets into Israel. Israeli officials say Hezbollah's improved missile arsenal is now capable of striking virtually anywhere in the country.

Yes, in Syria there's a shia axis but outside Syria I don't think it is a problem. Only Saudis see it everywhere but then again the House of Saud has its own royal agenda. They want to point at Iran as the bogeyman because they want Muslims to worry about Iran. First of all 95% of Syrian rebels are not Syrian. FSA are Libyans and few Syrians are among them. 98% of ISIS are foreign terrorists from 80 countries. Al nusra terrorists are Saudi, etc ...

Seconly these terrorists are getting daily aids and support for 4 years from Turkey, US and Saudi.

Thirdly Syrian army has killed almost 200,000 of these rats up to now. They have given many martyrs.

Fourthly these terrorists are like germs, they pop-up from hundreds various areas and they don't have certain place. They hide between civilians, use civilians as their sheild, hide in their tunnels etc... . In common wars you see your foreign enemy and go and fight against them in one or two fronts. Syrian army should fight in several fronts beacuas these terrorists are like mushroom plus they are hidden and they wear the same dress that civilians wear...

Fifthly rebels have heavy and advanced weapons like ATGMs.

About Hezbollah: they are several times stronger than 2006 and have more weapons and missiles, and in case of war they can turn your state to years ago.

They defeated you in 2006, and it is impossible you defeat them in future unless another country like US help you directly.

By your definition, it's very clear that Israel is the terrorist here.

If Hezbollah was shelling civilian homes non-stop for 33 days, much much more than 44 would be killed. By comparison, terrorists in Aleppo killed 30 people in 2 days and wounded 60 in past 2 days by shelling.
