Coming back to topic at hand, This news is simply unfeasible, since i don't see Israel launching a full scale ground invasion of Syria, unless its threatened and attacked. Even so, if it did come under attack, it will simply move in deeper towards Syria's border in Golan height, so it can have more space/buffer in Syria between it and its opponents in Syria, but there will obviously be no full scale invasion of Syria by Israel, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS.

I agree. I was just pointing out to quoted gentleman how unfeasible and unlikely it was for ISIS to get nukes if you follow a logical chain of thoughts.

Israel won't invade alone I agree, but if it is threatened and some kind of coalition forms - it will sure join the party.

Edit: Isn't the only power backing N. Korea China? BTW ISIS has made it clear whom they would approach for Nukes.

Well, I don't believe that. Their strategy and seizure of territories is not based on practical considerations, but rather on End Times prophecies:

IS is the organisational equivalent of a suicide bomber.

Using nukes wouldn't even be a question for them. Even supposedly rational actors like America have used nukes before. Why would IS hold back if they ever acquired them?

In my opinion, I think IS is a far greater danger than people think. I don't understand it when people/countries play IS like a card against Assad. This is not a card but rather a giant suicide bomber.

It is far more beneficial to worry about aliens attacking earth or an asteroid hitting earth or climate change destroying earth than ISIS getting their hands on a nuke.

I agree if they get their hands on a nuke they will use it quickly and in their immediate vicinity as window of opportunity would be very small.

If you think so, that's fair enough. This is only my opinion.

Nukes aren't exactly cutting edge tech, several countries built them in the 1950's, even North Korea can build them today. The former country called Iraq (today much of which is part of a new country called the Islamic State) was close to building one.

I think people are seriously underestimating IS simply because they see them as the useful lesser evil against Assad. I don't see IS as being rational actors.

Well, when you try to play big power games without being up to par with bigger powers, then that's what happens. You still remember when Assad was openly supporting terrorists groups against British and U.S forces in Iraq just less than a decade ago??
