Hence why over 1000 years they always go through cycle of doing violence and receiving violenceCan you imagine sitting there and shooting stranded POW sailors in the face. ... I mean,..... wow.
Yup every few hundred years they are subjected to a backlash but never learn, going back 4000 years.Hence why over 1000 years they always go through cycle of doing violence and receiving violence
And yet we haven't seen any single video of Hamas shooting at civilians
Israeli navy just filmed themselves like a cartel murdering Palestinian arab POW sailors, stranded in the water.
I guess all IDF personnel have forfeited their rights. Video of war crime above.
They haven't forfeited anything. The restrictions that apply to the world, at UN, Geneva Conventions, Amnesty International, etc, do not apply to Israel. They can do this again and again without impunity. A historical record of 700+ UN condemnations against this country for human rights abuses and war crimes did not halt them; what makes you think this little video will change anything?I guess all IDF personnel have forfeited their rights. Do you understand it is an internationally-accepted war crime to kill a stranded person, even if he is a combatant? Here's the context:
Newly released video shows the moment members of an Israeli navy unit gunned down Hamas terrorists trying to infiltrate the country by sea on the morning of the attack. The dramatic footage captured sailors from the Snapir unit aboard Defender-class vessels firing machine guns and lobbing depth charges on the terrorists after their speedboats were sunk by Dvora-class patrol boats, The Times of Israel reported. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said the terrorists tried to swim toward the Israeli coast.“Snapir fighters opened fire on the terrorists, amid a naval pursuit. The fighters thwarted a number of terrorists at sea, and from there they continued to thwart terrorists when they reached the coastline,” the IDF said.Snapir is a harbor security unit that is part of the patrol squadrons stationed at the Navy’s bases in nearby Ashdod, Haifa in the north and Eilat in the south, the outlet noted.
Yes. There is a question posed though: Who would they arrest them? They were obviously armed or maybe even carrying grenades. Maybe knives as well. They knew they were terrorists trying to infiltrate a beach. So...what would you do?Do you understand it is an internationally-accepted war crime to kill a stranded person, even if he is a combatant?
Be practical. They are stranded in water after their boat sunk. It's illegal to shoot at them on suspicion of them carrying a weapon while they are about to drown. And there's no way they can swim to any shore from there, nor do they pose a risk to anyone from their position.Yes. There is a question posed though: Who would they arrest them?
