Israel is 'mightier' as first F-35 fighter jets arrive

no , saudi arabia has the silent eagle , israel has messed up their planes by downgrading them with israeli electronics , iran has missiles too

Why do you think even the most newest aircraft in hands of SaudiaArabia will stand against the most weakest aircraft of Israel. Israelis have professionals flying their aircrafts. Saudis have only pilots who can fly to show the world that they have the finest expensive aircrafts.

i'm not sure , or maybe the marines want to use them in afghanistan without a proper runway.
>> F35 VTOL variant is only developing for US Navy to replace F-15 and old F-18. I think apart from US Navy no one operate VTOL variant as they are only navy to operate 12 Aircraft carriers. No other Country need it as in present.

Israel might buy them aswell

VTOL version is more expensive and has no advantage over typical one except vertical take off! In fact due to lift fan integration in fuselage it's fuel capacity has been decreased which resulted in shorter operational range. Israel doesn't operate aircraft carrier. No use for her

F-35B is for US Marines not Navy. Also UK and Italy plan to buy them for aircraft carriers.

Incase of war, some air forces bases might be hit, and that's why Israel plans to purchase 25 F-35B-I versions

There are no such plans. Only evaluation which with 99% probability wont lead to anything.

These are test only jets, not in regular units.
There are repeated reports about Israel interested in another F35, F15I and that it might buy F35B due to pressure from the cabinet
