All the muslim states (Egypt,Jordan,Saudi Arabia) around Israel apart from PLO and Syria have in practice recognized israel and established relatively friendly relations with them. Thats the direction the currents have taken and we need to be smart about it. We need to calculate our position in the game again.

So Israel is attacking Lebanon because of illegal underground tunnels which Lebanon uses to violate it's sovereignty while on the other hand Israel has the permission to violate Lebanon's sovereignty with illegal air corridor ("air tunnels").

Underground tunnels are a poor man's "Air Tunnels" (air corridors"). Both are used for bombing the other.

Israel is very worried about Hezbollah gaining lots of battle experience in Syria, Hezbollah is very strong now, they have effective deterrence against Israel.
