In case anyone misses the original..

There is a video version with slightly less ancient visuals that include medical corps at work and alpine soldiers in white gear. This was the best version of this song imho but alas, I can't find it on YouTube any more.

I am sure the recent singers and producers mean well but to diverge from the original template so much actually ruins this song. Instruments and vocals can simply be refreshed without damaging the melody, the rhythm, the beat and the lyrics. My last criticism is that the trend these days seems to involve a focus on the artists instead of the subject matter. This isn't a pop song or something to be played in a nightclub. There are other songs for those roles. This particular song is a national song that is supposed to draw our attention to the military throughout. Yes - we need to see the artists at limited junctures - but they should keep their visual representation simple and not be hogging attention.

I don't care what others do in their household or the type of music they listen to on their cell-phones.

I've always had a very strict Policy in my House. No Indian Movies, Music or Products in my house (period).

I had followed that all my life. Don't give a two hoots for anything Indian.
Have seen numerous Indian Bollywood actors in real life in London. From Shahrukh, Fardeen Khan to Ameesha Patel.

They look s**t, without any doubt.

And no, I didn't went to see them. I couldn't be bothered.
