When you oppress a group of people eventually they will fight back...there are too many war lords in the world who are too quick to respond to a group needing weapons....it helps advertise, test and also maintain a continuous demand....

In any case there is no serious issue with Lebanon now. As far as Palestine goes, I hope that they can soon find a solution and have their own independent state in Gaza and the West Bank recognized by Israel.

Lots of progress will be made if everything goes according to the plan that the Egyptians proposed.

My views on Israel-Palestine conflict is pretty clear. I am for Palestinian sovereignty over its land. However I don't agree with some agendas in Hamas' charter (especially related to chasing Jews out of Israel and ME altogether) even though I kind of agree with Hamas fighting the resistance for it's people.
Anyhow, my question would be - Why is Palestine resistance being termed an Islamic resistance. Isn't it more of a political conflict than a religious conflict?

No such thing exists in their charter. All their Charter said was dismantling state of Israel. Had nothing to with Jews. And they already removed that.

Glad you agree with the Palestinian Resistance right to military action if necessary. After this Israeli assault I'm inclined to believe more people will support the Palestinian right to arm.

And yes, it is more political. Hezbollah/Hamas don't agree on religious terms. They are different. But, ideologically they think the same when it comes to politics/military resistance. Palestinians have more than just Hamas, we have liberal military factions such as the PFLP and others.
