America's Allies Are Funding ISIS
The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), now threatening Baghdad, was funded for years by wealthy donors in Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, three U.S. allies that have dual agendas in the war on terror.

The extremist group that is threatening the existence of the Iraqi state was built and grown for years with the help of elite donors from American supposed allies in the Persian Gulf region.

In the years they were getting started, a key component of ISIS’s support came from wealthy individuals in the Arab Gulf States of Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Sometimes the support came with the tacit nod of approval from those regimes; often, it took advantage of poor money laundering protections in those states, according to officials, experts, and leaders of the Syrian opposition, which is fighting ISIS as well as the regime.
“Everybody knows the money is going through Kuwait and that it’s coming from the Arab Gulf,” said Andrew Tabler, senior fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. “Kuwait’s banking system and its money changers have long been a huge problem because they are a major conduit for money to extremist groups in Syria and now Iraq.”

Yes, the US may have trained islamists from the FSA who later might have joined ISIS, cause the US never gave weapons.

Look how retarded and uninformed that neocon blog u give as source is:

The Jordanian officials said all ISIS members who received U.S. training to fight in Syria were first vetted for any links to extremist groups like al-Qaida.

Read that hilarious sentence again. :dance3:

Offcourse they mean FSA. Since Al Qaeda thought ISIS is too extreme and denounced it.But hey, the US would vet ISIS fighters to having links with extremist Qaeda. :laughcry:

But yeah quite believeable those amateuristic "journalists" of that neocon blog u present as "evidence" are right about Saudi funding ISIS. NOT. :dance3:

Yes, some private individual donors, not state sponssored.

Anyway, those pennies don't make much difference, cause the Islamic State is self sufficiënt.

In fact, the intercepted documents show, outside donations amounted to only a tiny fraction _ no more than 5 percent _ of the group’s operating budgets from 2005 until 2010, when Baghdadi took over after the deaths of two superiors.

Records show how Iraqi extremists withstood U.S. anti-terror efforts

ISIS is an al-Qaeda offshoot in Iraq, which merged with Jabhat Al-Nusra, the approved al-Qaeda offshoot in Syria

Saudis were supporting ISIS in Syria , which had an appeal to many foreign jihadis.

Was watching CNN today. ISIS has around 3 Billion Dollars worth funding with it. The funny part is that it is minting more of that by selling the oil from captured Syrian Oilfields to none other but Syrian Government itself.

ISIS is the al-Qaeda offshoot in Iraq, which merged with Jabhat Al-Nusra, the approved al-Qaeda offshoot in Syria fighting Assad alongside other rebel groups.

They didn't merge. Nusra is actually an ISIS offshoot, since Baghdadi sponsored them. But instead, Nusra emir pledged aligiance to Qaeda and that still stands today. So no merger, altough some of Nusra have defected to IS.

KSA also supports Mossad, CIA, MI6, the fake wannabe Arab Mullah's in Iran, Al-Asshead, Al-Maliki, Al-Sisi and the Russian Mafia.

Source:

Armchair general number 2084 on PDF.

Yes, KSA supports a group that has been considered as an terrorist group since it emerged and a group whose main goal is to conquer KSA and its holy lands as they are the most significant and important lands in the Islamic world. Something they are very open about.

I guess all those donations and support for FSA and the legitimate Islamic Front from KSA and all the other countries supporting the brave and heroic Syrian opposition and resistance just became false overnight.

Utter retards.

Bin Laden sponsored Zarqawi, founder of ISIS. Yeah, a Saudi national who sponsored... Only to get back at KSA at some point, am I right? :dance3:

OBL was long dead before ISIS emerged as we know it as he was hiding in Pakistan for years without much influence. Besides OBL was half Yemeni and half Syrian.
