Isn't it disrespectful? Not to just one thing, but many others. First of all, it's a Muslim country and know very well the respect of Islamic centers. The place where Islam was being taught is now a cinema?
Is this why we got Pakistan? The top reason of "Two nations theory" was the religion. We wanted to get freed from Hindu influence. So we can practice and respect our faith and beliefs. Nai? Also, if this generation have started doing this and then I bet next Umah is going to suffer a lot or will completely disassociate to Islam. :/

When a masjid can be built on an illegally grabbed land and used as a storage for weapons, I don't find any reason why a non functioning Islamic center cannot be converted.

Its just that current trend suggests that we have developed a strong liking for entertainment than the desire to seek knowldge. Which is far more worrying

This center was not completely disfunctional. There was a Library before Cinema with huge books collection and in evenings it was being used as a wedding lawn.

It was owned by City Govt. and city govt. converts the same to Cinema ...
