Well, at least they got him. Now hang him in public, along with all those people putting ISIS posters everywhere. We have enough scum here, there's no place for these pigs.

Presence of ISIS may be much more dangerous than we think. They draw a lot more recruits and resources from world over. Our security apparatus already has its hands full. ISIS can tip the balance in the favour of terorr and undo our achievements. Good thing however is society has started to come together against such mentality. They have already suffered too much at their hands.

ISIS does not have real presence here, its more like recruiting centre which they have all over the world including India. Apparently they were successful in recruiting a few from India although they were not very happy with quality of recruits and relegated them to secondary jobs. Besides, I think ISIS will have fierce resistance from Al-Qaeda and TTP. They will fight the turf war. This should be the game plan of our intelligence, should ISIS start to gain traction here.

I have this feeling that ISIS will gain foothold in Xinjiang area as Uighurs fighters start to return. Launching pad for their operations in India (esp Northern India) will be from Xinjiang and not Pakistan. Eastern population of Pakistan has little sympathy with ISIS and likes of it.

Salafi sect doing what it does best; terrorism. Each and every single Salafi is a terrorist, fitnah.

Blaming every Salafi is foolish, considering that there are many Salafis that don't agree with terrorism, heck, there are sects within the Salafi school that disagree with each other.

These blanket blaming is what causes discrimination, and move towards extremism. Next time you decide to blame an entire group, take a look at what the world media is saying about Muslims, and then maybe decide whether or not you want to stoop as low as the media.

The salafi kaafirs not directly involved in fitnah support it via their words. There can't be a "normal" salafi.

Good catch.

BTW I dont believe ISIS as an organization exists in Pakistan. So far there are only indications of a number of sympathizers or people who have gone to fight for Daesh -- I hope they are killed in action there and dont come back here.

there are of course TTP and other fringe groups that have openly pledged allegiance to Abu Bakr al Baghdadi.....the same animals we are currently fighting. Our mission is to finish them off completely. They are enemies of Islam and even some outspoken members of the religious clergy have condemned them and their vicious acts.

there should be no difference between actually ISIS members/supporters and people who even distribute pro-Daesh literature or propaganda. These are deadly dangerous people and a threat to Pakistan....we cannot afford to let them set-up shop anywhere in Pakistan

and that's where the citizens job is to report ANY suspicious activity - even if you see the Daesh flag, report it

And you know this because you know every Salafi in the world, correct? Also, throwing around the word kafir is not a good thing, be careful of whom you declare a kafir, as you may regret it on the day of judgement. The only one that can judge a Muslim's faith is Allah himself, and as far as I'm concerned, those who perform Shahada are Muslims. You have no right to declare those Muslims that you don't even know as kafir.

Good catch.

A few recruiters, maybe a small group carrying ISIS's flag, but I agree, the organization as a whole probably is next to nonexistent in Pakistan.

We need to keep it that way.

I know that in Bannu there was pro-ISIS graffiti seen somewhere and there have been instances of Daesh flags (replicas or rough look-a-likes) seen hoisted but then later taken down

Daesh certainly has its eyes on this neighbourhood as they seek expansion of their criminal enterprise.....cant let it happen at any cost

My entire family is technically ''Salafi''. None of them are terrorists.
Sectarian arseholes like you have made it impossible for Muslims to be Muslims. I don't follow any sect, yet that makes me a Salafi in Mullah eyes. On the other hand, If I was in a sect, the same pricks would be saying that my sect is wrong and I should be a Barelvi/Deobandi/Sufi/flani jamaat/konsi jamaat.
Idiotic and ANTI-ISLAMIC (yes, ANTI islamic) mentality like this has destroyed Islam and Muslims.

And guess what? The same language and arguments you use against Salafis are the exact same arguments Islamophobes use against Muslims. Aisi 'ummat' ho to dushman ki zaroorat hi nahi.

Do you realize what a Salafi even is, takfiri mullah sahab? You complain about Salafis being Takfiris while you yourself do takfir. Munafiqat ki hadd.

A Salafi is anyone who directly follows the Prophet's companions, i.e the Salafis-saliheen. By saying this is 'fitnah', you're saying that Prophet Muhammad and his teachings were fithnah. Astaghfirullah. If you need your mullahs and imams to 'purify' your religion for you, you are saying that Islam is flawed and are essentially going against Islam itself.

''And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.'' [Quran, Ale'Imran 3:103]

''Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects - you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. '
[Quran, Al'Anaam 6:159]

I honestly think most of that graffiti was because of a bunch of kids, who need to get their butts whooped.

The same salaf's whose tombs you demolished, and graves you desecrated? Not all salafists might be terrorists, but all terrorists are salafist.
