Well if some how we manage to increase our Armed Forces budget a lot more than we currently have and because of that Navy can have 2 or 3 Brigades of Marines and lot more SSGN Guys than ISI would be more active among Navy too and they will lot of recruits from them and also help Navy with current shape I don't think ISI would be or can be of much help

ISI's biggest asset is informants on the ground (due to lack of high tech space age gadgetry) and they do their job pretty well.

In case of Seas, fish don't talk and can not be coerced to speak. So it's a fail from the get go!

@Stealth How do you expect an intelligence agency to gather info for a naval force.... The max they can get humnit from hostile naval bases.......

It will have if they have some recruits on Frigates and Submarines but on Ground when Navy will have 2 to 3 brigades of Marines and lot more SSGN than ISI would have more role in Navy too

There are two main Intelligence Agencies of Pakistan.

1. Military Intelligence
2. Inter Services Intelligence

MI is responsible primarily for Counter Intelligence within the Armed Forces of Pakistan. It has separate wings for Tri Services. Its job is to gather intelligence of own personals and prevent any kind of espionage.

ISI job is broader intelligence gathering activities within and outside of Country.

No they have there own Naval intelligence but that is not too big MI and NI have to work together
