Dear Moderators/Admins,
This thread addresses some issue by calling spade a spade. Let this thread be.
If Indians disagree with the post, let them refute it with logic.
Is there parochial provincialism in ISRO/DRDO/HAL/BARC/DAE?
Why are these organisations dominated by Tamilians/Malayalis? Why are there disproportionately high number of Tamilians/Malayalis in ISRO/DRDO/HAL/BARC/DAE? Is there any bias in recruitment process?
It is not that other states lack talent. For instance, West Bengal has produced countless number of great and world-class scientists like Jagdish Chandra Bose, Satyendra Bose, Meghnad Saha, Prafulla Chandra Ray, Amar Gopal Bose, Amal Kumar Raychaudhuri, Manik Lal Bhaumik....... but we don't find many Bengalis in independent India's premier research institutions.
Now don't bring the topic of Nobel prize in this. Those who decide Nobel prize have their own racist agenda. Had Nobel academy been fair and scientific, Bengal would have won more Nobel prizes than Tamil Nadu.
There aren't as many Bengalis as Tamilians and Malayalis in 'post-1947' institutions like ISRO/DRDO/HAL/BARC/DAE despite Bengal having higher density of population and also bigger proportion of talented populace.
So the question is why the demography of India's institutions of research skewed?
