Amazing! In the wake Rohan's visit and declaration that BD is militant infested, several suicide bombing incidents have taken place. Meanwhile Modi is twisting SHW's tail as much as he can for a "defense" deal with BD. People in BD and the military understand too well the implications of such a pact, and are up in arms. For SHW, already under constant death threat, this will be suicidal for her political career and the party's future. And it is the party that she has been planning to leave for son Joi as family jewel.

Govt reluctant to forge unity against militancy: BNP

BNP on Saturday alleged that the government is not forging a national unity to eliminate militancy as it is trying to perpetuate its power by using the issue as its political capital.

“Being isolated from people, the government is indulging in various anti-people activities. You (people) have already seen they (govt) are trying to hang onto power by using militancy issue,” said BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury.
He came up with the allegation while speaking at a discussion arranged by Jatiyatabadi Samaj-Kalyan Dal at Photojournalists Association auditorium in the city.
Referring to their party Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s call for forging a national unity to curb militancy, Khasru said the government turned it down outright only to keep alive militancy for taking its benefits. “They’re now using militancy as their political capital.”
He said the government usually brings the militancy issue in the limelight by carrying out any incident to hush up its failure, shirk responsibility and mislead people.
“We’re now hearing about it afresh ahead of the Prime Minister’s India tour. Now you (people) will be hearing about it for some days,” Khasru added.
Khasru said people now do not believe in such incidents. “So, we call upon the government not to play with a serious issue like militancy. A national unity is necessary to eliminate it.”
Describing militancy as the enemy of the country and its people and future development, he urged the government not to use the issue as its political capital to suppress its opponents.
The BNP leader said militancy has emerged in the country as a dangerous menace as the government obliterated democracy and snatched people’s all rights.
About the next general election, Khasru said it will not be possible to take BNP to polls only by scaring it of cancelling its registration with the Election Commission.
He said their party will surely join the election if it is held in a fair and credible manner under a neutral administration.
Talking to reporters in front of Jatiya Press Club after joining a programme, BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said the government is not sincere about eliminating militancy as it is making its political gain using the issue.
“Militant incidents have suddenly marked a rise at a time when India is pressing Bangladesh for signing a defence deal with it, raising question in public minds. It’s also a dubious matter. The government wants to keep militancy issue alive to stay in power creating a smoke screen.”

এটা কি পুলিশ কমিশনার, নাকি হোমগার্ড? হালারপুত গোপালী বলে, ওদের কাছে আগেই তথ্য ছিল! আর মানে ঘটনাগুলো কারা পরিকল্পনা করে ঘটিয়েছে, তা তারা জানে।
খিলগাঁওয়ের ঘটনায় নিহত ব্যক্তির কাছে যে ব্যাগ উদ্ধার দেখানো হয়েছে, সেই ব্যাগ ব্যবহার করে ইন্ডিয়ান আর্টিলারীরা। তাছাড়া মোটসাইকেলটিতে কোনো নম্বর প্লেট নাই, হেভি হুইল, সাধারনত পুলিশ বা আর্মি এগুলা ব্যবহার করে।
আশকোনায় নিহত রফিক দোকানে কাজ করত, পাঁচ দিন আগে থেকে নিখোঁজ। ধারনা করা হচ্ছে রাস্তা থেকে পুলিশ তুলে নিয়ে গিয়েছিলো। এই পাঁচদিনেই কারো পক্ষে আত্মঘাতি হামলার ঘটনা ঘটানো অবিশ্বাস্য। কেবল আটক করে অত্যাচার ও শেষে মুক্তির আশা দিয়ে ব্যাগ ধরিয়ে ক্রস ফায়ারে হত্যা করাই সম্ভব। সীতাকুন্ডুতে নিহত দুই খালাত ভাই রাফিদ ও আয়াদ ২০১৬ সালের ৯ আগস্ট থেকে নিখোঁজ। নিহত হবার পরে পুলিশ সরাসরি তাদের স্বজনদের কাছে এসে ডিএনএ স্যাম্পল চাইছে। ফলে এটা পরিস্কার যে, নিহতদের পরিচয় আগে থেকেই পুলিশের জানা ছিল। মোট কথা, এরাও পুলিশের ক্যাপ্টিভ!
...........আমরা নিশ্চিত যে, বিভিন্ন স্থান থেকে নিরিহ মানুষ ধরে জঙ্গি বানাচ্ছে সরকারের বাহিনী, আর একেকটা ঘটনার নামে হত্যা করছে এদের। বন্দীদেরকে এভাবে হত্যা করা পৃথিবীর যেকোনো আইনে অপরাধ। এই খুনি সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে ব্যবস্থা নিতে জাতিসংঘ ও বিশ্বের শক্তিশালি দেশগুলোকে আহবান জানাই।

Under any globally existing laws killing of any Detainees is a severe criminal offence. We are humbly pleading before the United Nations and all Peace loving Nations to take necessary step against this evil murderous government. We are pleading before Almighty, our noble Creator, The Mightiest, to destroy these evil forces, which satisfy their lust and heinous agenda, by murdering innocent citizens.

1.If one puts all relevant reports in a mosaic, it will appear Modi is manufacturing and collecting ammo with which to pressurize SHW during her planned visit. Since he holds the lever over the fire being raised here - and he holds this on behalf of the West also, SHW must accept his defense deals and others, or else face a treatment like Baluchistan or Karachi. West and India are both wary of China's growing influence in BD.
