British export a lot of Singers, Movies and actors (Beatles, Coldplays, Adele (Which I hate) and actor like Colin Firth, James Bond (Take your pick) and also Syfy genre
French mostly opera, musical, and old script read.
S.K is nothing compared to U.S, UK and Japan in terms of the influence in Pop culture

J Pop have a world wide population, many Hollywood and LA recording artist work with J Pop group such as Exile (Which feat in Boyz II Men song)
or Koda Kumi or SMAP group, which all worked with LA recording artist.
About normal film, many Japanese Movie were rewrote into Hollywood Big Hit, Hollywood movie such as Guardian (which was wrote based on a Japanese movie on Japanese Coast Guard.
A few more movie was taken into by Hollywood producer and rewrite (Such as The Ring, Godzilla) and The hunger Game took inspiration from Japanese Movie "Battle Royale", which although the producer denied the copying, an US TV show is basing on Battle Royale now

There are not much K-Pop influence in the west, the only one been said is Psy, and also Korean Movie and Soap does not usually get remake by the West. Granted K-Culture is quite rampant in Asia, but little have heard of outside Asia, compare to Japanese, it was an tip of an Iceberg
And dude, depend on how you see "pop" culture, Musical and Opera are defined as Pop Culture, what you are thinking is plays, which is more of a classical roots.
LOL........How about Beatles (THE LITERALLY THE BIGGEST NAME IN POP MUSIC)
How about Coldplays, Adele, Elton John, James Blunt, Robbie Williams, Take That, Westlife, Ronan Keating, Kylie Minogue (She is Australian tho), AC/DC, et el??
lol and you say British Music is not as popular as Korean Music?? LOL...
what you are talking about is the past
now it is 2015, the era of Kpop, and it is just the beginning.
ask the younger generation about their opinion about Kpop and Jpop
dude, NO. This is not about the past.
It has always been like this. You do know Godzilla is a 2015 movie right? How about Biohazard? THe last instalment is in 2014, and SMAP just finish a US tour in Spring 2015.
As of today, there are NO Collabration between Korean TV/song cooperation between Korea and anyone else.
Can you name any K-Pop Singer leads into the west in the last 15 years?
Can you name any K-Movie being remake by Hollywood in the last 15 years?
