There is no argument, the news was from 2014 and from "un-named" sources which ultimatly proved false. To date there have been no overseas orders for the Merkava (any versions), if there were it would be plastered in all the agencies. Singapore is using updated Lep4's, and are not in the market for Merkavas.

For Israel's terrain it's perfect, but for other countries it isn't.

Both Challenger and M1A2 have been known to take hits from Kornet and suffer minimal damages. The only way to destroy the M1A2 was attacking it from the back. Most US tank casualties at Iraq are M1A1 and not the later. And Challenger 2 is considered to be the most armoured tank. The Leopard 2 tanks outperformed US tanks in the recent tank games held by NATO at US.

And the "most protected" is only claimed by Israel.

The Merkava is faster than all 3 of those offroad, And I am talking about 10+ kmph, it has a BMS which none of those has, it has an APS which none of those has, it has an EXCELLENT gun stabilization system that lets it fire from the move almost like being stationary, it can fire ATGMs which the Abrams and the Challenger cant, it has way more armor than all 3 of those and much more.
