Is Mahindra XUV500 good for city use?

What is the maintenance cost of Mahindra XUV500?

Suggestions Welcome... Anyone here used this SUV?

Its a SUV.. but you can use it in City roads... its a bit big for Parking spaces..I have one... the only problem is when Paid parking guys in congested markets refuse to park the car...

Other than that.. its an awesome car to drive... reasonable maintenance for vehicle of this size.

Its fuel economy is 15.1 KM per Litre (as per ARAI test), In Colombo there will be heavy traffic, so are you sure about fuel economy?

well even in worst traffics expect it to give atleast 12-13 kmpl or else in moderate city traffic around 14 kmpl. At highways you can expect even more.
PS: 100% experience.

For first couple of thousand KMs.. the FE will be under 10KMPL... so don't wory about that..
After that FE improves to 18KMPL on Highway and 12-13 KMPL in City traffic.. t

Its a solid car .. great fun to drive...

Just remember..

You should buy a car that you would love to drive ... rather than buying a car that you have to drive because you have bought it. Its going to be with you for a long time...so buy what you love the ost..and don't go by what people have to say.

Its your car.. its you who has to fall in love with it.. nobody else.

That depends. I mean if upto 5 people are travelling then it has a massive luggage capacity(many big suitcases, bags etc)(with third row folded). but if third row(last row) is upright then it has little capacity(enough for light luggages,suitcases,bags etc but not enough for heavy suitcases etc.)

well its third row is a bit little spacious than first two but it isn't bad at all.
