IRGC Great Prophet XIV (پیامبر اعظم 14) war games in the general area of the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf: “Iran-made chopper” launches a missile, IRGC speedboats, commandos attack a mock-up of a US Navy Nimitz-class Carrier, and a drone was targeted from land.
The most important weapon unveiled today was the Canister anti-radar solid-fuel ballistic missile.
Which has interesting points
The missile is very similar to the Fateh family missiles
Another thing I should note from the IMA Media video; assuming video speed isn't sped up (doesn't seem so), the containerised missile - which looks like a Dezful - is REALLY fast to launch. I'd wager it's faster than any of Iran's existing Fateh class missiles
Very beautiful image of the impact of this unknown missile, well, the missile is definitely not capable of detaching the warhead, but the tip of the missile has shining light due to the intensity of aerodynamic heating, which shows the hypersonic speed of the missile.
The second missile that hits this target apparently has detachable warhead and the speed is so very high that it has taken on the shape of a meteorite!
In a separate video, there are new "missile farms", with TBM-class missiles in silos. They are unique for not being VLS, and are very well hidden in the terrain. It also seems like there is a new, finless missile being used.
It is possible that from the beginning that we assumed that the canister missile was launched against the radar was actually false, and that these secret missiles, which are secretly launched from the underground and have no surface controls and have TVC guidance are the missiles with very, very high speeds!
By removing the surface controls and using TVC, you are reducing the radar cross section of the missile and increasing the speed, and with IRGC use of the full composite body and composite engine they will reduce the weight of the missile by 50-60%, the noise and radar cross section is greatly reduced, and Thaad's radar actually detects the missile when the missile is out of range of Thaad's interceptor missiles.
