Iraqi Kurdistan: Arabs Displaced, Cordoned Off, Detained

And who will do that? Don't look at Egypt at all. Don't look at Turkey too, our arms are tied so firmly.

Saudi Arabia? Regardless of how much the new king might be different than the old one, I don't think they will dare to do anything about it due to possible reactions from the west.

Iraqi Arabs will do what is necessary themselves. History shows this. Moreover currently 1/3 of the population in KRG is Arab. I doubt that they are going to leave anywhere unless on their own.

it's funny isin't, when the criticsm is against the iraqi government and the militias by "human rights groups", you iraqis blame it's all saudi sponsored and so on which it actaulyl very often is. and now when it comes to the kurds you agree. well this is what your guys did in jalawla.

this is how serious I take HRW

Everyone is dying, quit using that excuse. Infact Iraqis have been fighting IS and dying in much larger numbers.

I know very well what i'm talking about here, KRG has been spreading lies all over the place. First the 'we are the only ones fighting ISIS', than 'We protect Christians' bullshit. Meanwhile they're doing the exact opposite, barely any fighting without airstrikes and kurdifying area's. it's led by a dictator family Barzani which won't ever leave office yet they play the 'we are democratic' card. You can portray yourselves as secular and sophisticated for the west but it changes nothing to people who know the real situation.

You think some Assyrians in the west are the only ones complaining ? The NPU force over there gives enough coverage. Pesh abandones them when they abandoned Sinjar and Mosul dam as well like they gave a shit about them. Now this HRW piece is confirming what we locals have been saying all along.. that beside all the video's confirming the same.

What I agree with:" Everyone is dying, quit using that excuse. Infact Iraqis have been fighting IS and dying in much larger numbers. 'we are the only ones fighting ISIS'. KRG has been spreading lies all over the place."

the rest no.

Will the cowardly harassment of unarmed Arab and Assyrian civilians by those Kurdish gangs be raised by the Iraqi government in the Arab League?

Is Iraq likely to ask for Arab support if a conflict/war broke out in the disputed areas?

Probably not AL.

But they can deal with them on their own, it's good anyway that this happens. I call it positive terrorism, better that they show the true face instead of putting up the usual mask that they're the friends of Sunnis, Turkmens and Assyrians as they used to do & still do in some cases.

Well, the Iraqi army and locals (Arabs, Assyrians and Turkmen) can no doubt deal with their harassment, stealing of land and in some cases even terrorism.

I was more referring to political and economic support here. That is important as well. Of course this is an internal Iraqi problem but it nevertheless involves Arabs and I have no doubt that the Arab League would support the Iraqi government in their effort to restore order.

All the Iraqi Arabs, Assyrians and Turkmen should not leave KRG.

Take a look at social media and see how many people that are complaining about the Kurds. Unacceptable behavior yet the Iraqi government keeps paying billions to them!
