Iraq to launch ground offensive against ISIS

Fallujah is a city full of ISIL supporters, it's a regional HQ of ISIL. This city won't be cleared by the army, it's remaining citizens are ISIL themselves. let the US carpet bomb it.

It's called the city of mosques after all, the amount of ISIL brainwashing they've received can't be cured.
Instead of bombing them and destroying the existing civilian infrastructure; why not starve them into submission. You have the manpower+money+time on your side

I want to see massive flags of Ayatollah Khamenei in Fallujah, ALLAHU AKBAR KHOMEINI RAHBAR

That was really the funniest Shea troll. Keep going boy love you.

Iran is blaming it on US embassy in Iraq...:

Are you referring to what Assad did to Syrian Muslims?

what the hell were they doing before
Question is why they wake up now? When Jordan is gearing up with assistance of allied states.... to this hints to state vs state war.
iran has a history of throwing wranch.

Bush doctrine at work, if you are not with us, you are against us...Collective punishment like Israel, call in the foreign troop to do our fighting like the Sauds, is there anything left that is called Iraqi defending and fighting for Iraq...that is sad.

That's correct in this war if you're against the army and the popular forces than you're with ISIL

There's no foreign troops fighting there's only locals fighting on the ground.

The Kurds have shown that ISIS is not all it is made out to be. They are actually big cowards when they are captured. Interesting considering that ISIS victims are much braver then ISIS themselves. Iraq needs to show no mercy as ISIS shows no mercy to their victims.

Once Iraq uses the 'eye for an eye' doctrine ISIS's will to fight will diminish and they might think twice before they torture people. For any of this to happen the Iraqi military will actually have to stand their ground and not retreat like they have in the past.

Kurds used to support ISIL indirectly against Iraq, once they attacked Iraq they were cheering and boasting about bravery.. First ISIL attack on Kurds they abandoned Sinjar ( their own Yazidis leaving them in ISIL slavery ), Mosul dam, Zumar etc. ISIL got into Arbil province forcing the US to intervene by the air to save them. Than Iraqi Arab ISOF retook Mosul dam so how much did Kurds really do with all the airstrike support they have. Not much actually.

The army, sahwat in Anbar and rafida militia's have done a lot more in combatting them actually, except you don't see that on the western media.

As for 'eye for an eye' that's too sectarian, the whole world will cry.

What did I tell you about media exposure once? The Western media and even some Arab/ME media have now brainwashed people into believing how amazing "warriors" the Kurds are despite doing as badly as the Iraqi army initially while all the fighting and gains are done by mainly loyal local Iraqi Sunni Arabs and the Iraqi army and volunteers. It's mostly done by locals as they know the neighborhood.

So much for that while never having their own state and always living under the thumb of foreigners. Just. No offense to any Kurd here.

So if you repeat something enough of times it becomes the reality in the eyes of many especially ignorants from outside the region who know little about the ME.
Now exchange the word "Kurd" and use any other word originating in the ME and you will get my point of how easy it is to create a false impression if a certain opinion/view is repeated enough of times.

what to belive and what is the truth?
well it depends who you ask
and what are your own limitations and what you WANT to hear.

that said, one point agenda that should unite us all is.

eradication of the strain of ISIS. this group has insulted Islam, Allah, Quran and Muhammad PBUH.
for the sake of our faith and for the sake of all our brothers and sisters murdered due to this madness... we must take the fight to them through our speeches, our teaching, our pens, our keyboards, our blood, our souls .

I wish to see some news of Iraqis coordinating their ground offensive with the help of Jordan and Suadis.. hopefully Saudis can provide air support.. even reccy and surveillance will help just in case Saudis don't want to commit their military at the moment. then there is the support with medical supplies and medics etc.

rafida militia's
U know , you can actually prove you are a sunni without insulting whole shias ? :D

curse alassad or iran a little

kurds are extremely seperated when it comes to politics . you cannot treat the kurds in iraq like a united front . every single person can have his/her own agenda . some fight for nationalism and for the wet dream of having stablished an state within iraq . some fight to simply protect their own people . the former can be crushed like a piece of cake , the latter cannot .

believe me , ideology and morale is very important when it comes to fighting : the exact same reason why ISIS has succeeded so much .

in their little nut-size jihadi minds , they are really fighting for allah , beheading for allah , killing for allah .

I don't view rafidi as insult.

I meant KRG with kurds. KRG has supported the ISIL against Iraq
In the cover of 'iraqi revolutionaries'. It's good that they paid a price for it by ISIS hands otherwise they would be supporting it till this day.

I can prove all that extensively with video's from all kinds of officials but keeping of short since im on mobile.

you don't have to prove it , everyone knows about that . those kurds are really bastard with its whole definition .

well , i , as a shia muslim take it as an insult :D

it doesn't matter what you view it :D

About time. The future stability of Iraq will further depend on how this offensive is conducted. If civilians (who will mostly be Sunni) are indiscriminately killed then Iraq as we knew it will cease to exist and any loyalties that Iraqi Sunnis currently held to the state will start to decrease (I am specifically referring to events like this one "Survivors say Iraqi forces watched as Shi'ite militias executed 72 Sunnis" Survivors say Iraqi forces watched as Shi'ite militias executed 72 Sunnis| Reuters

On the other hand if the Iraqi Army is able to perform professionally and reduce civilian casualties to the minimum then a plural Iraq composed of both Sunnis and Shias may still be a possibility.
