The Iraqi supreme authorities have ratified a court decision to execute Saddam Omar Al- Jamal, a Daesh militant who is one of those responsible for the burning of a Jordanian pilot.

Muath Al-Kasasbeh was captured alive in early February 2015 when his airplane was shot down over the Syrian city of Raqqa.

A statement issued by his family yesterday said Al-Jamal was responsible for his murder and he would be executed.

Al-Jamal was arrested by the Iraqi intelligence in May, he denied responsibility for Al- Kasasbeh’s death.

In response, the Jordanian pilot’s family issued a statement saying Al-Jamal was “governor of the Euphrates”, an area controlled by Daesh at the time and where Muath’s plane was downed and therefore he had played a part in his murder.

In 2015, Daesh released a 22-minute video which purported to show the Jordanian locked in a cage while being burned alive.

should put him in solitary imprisonment for life, execution is too quick & easy on him.

Excellent work Iraq.

Make mince meat out of them, and televise it.

keeping him alive should be his punishment with continous torture, the kind he and his people inflicted on others.
death is an easy way out for him and probably what he is looking up to

This gov will be very 'kind' to him given these are high profile terrorists and the news would cover whatever might happen to them. What a sad situation, Saddam terrorized opponents brutally but these fuckers receive a gentle death.

. . . . .
True let him live with this crime locked up for the rest of his miserable life

I think it makes no difference, it also costs money and who knows they might escape or form future terrorist networks in prison.

Camp Bucca (prison) is what enabled the growth of IS as Baghdadi and all others were once imprisoned there.

.
Good. Do the same to the rest too. No mercy for Daesh.
