Good job by the Modi government. Was thinking that something like this might happen after Syed Akbaruddin's press conference, he seemed very confident & not disturbed. Was irritated with all the "expert" chaps on the news shows talking trash about GoI's handling of the situation, was thinking that they would look stupid if something like this happened..

I thought everyone will support the release of these nurses but it appears some are not quite happy with the outcome!! Exactly this mindset of theirs is behind the mess in their country.

Good work by Crisis Management group headed by Sushma Swaraj!! Kudos to ex Indian envoy to Iraq Suresh Reddy for making this tough task happen!! Hopefully the 40 construction workers will be released soon as well!!

The Indian nurses have now reached the Kurdistan region in Iraq which is considered to be safe.

CNN-IBN reports that the nurses have crossed the border post into the area. India is also sending special aircraft to bring them back.

I was kinda worried this might snowball into something like the flight hijacking, and they might try to bargain.

We have got our citizens back, that is more important.

principally! even this is concerning..........u dont know for sure where this seemingly minor co-operating leads to. We should not be complacent abt this.
